The Hidden Forest

Chapter 4

I slowly opened my eyes before closing them again.

No wait.

My eyes shot back open and I quickly got out of the bed. "Linzy get the hell up!" I shouted in panic. Linzy fell out of the bed and got up in frustration. "What did you do that for-" She said but stopped speaking and instead started screaming.

We both looked at the bed that was covered in blood. The blood came from the wall above the bed. It was a big red 'GET OUT' that was dripping with blood.

I ran to Linzy and began pulling her towards the double doors that were wide open.

I ran towards the doors but before I could drag Linzy out of the terrifying room the doors shut closed and we both screamed in panic.

"Okay okay stay calm" I said more to myself than to her.  "Stay calm!? Okay we can stay calm I mean where only STUCK IN A FUCKING PARONORMAL HOUSE!" she snapped.

Okay she was right. We had to get the hell outa this place. I took a few steps back and then went sprinting to the door. I burst through the door and got up, making my way towards the stairs.

Linzy ran behind me and began running down the stairs when she tripped and fell. I spun around and began helping her up but it seemed as if something was pulling her.

She was yanked up the stairs and back into the room. I screamed and ran after her.

Once I got into the room I realised I had made a mistake. Linzy looked at me as her eyes started rolling to the back of her head. Her eyes were now white and I screamed as I watched her walk up to me.

I was frozen and I couldn't move. She came up to me and put her sharp nails on my face. She dragged them down leaving scratches on my cheek.

I winced in pain and put my hand over my cheek. I would fight back but I couldn't. She was in my best friend and I couldn't hit my best friend. I quickly tripped her and ran to the door. I ran out the door and began running to the stairs. I glanced behind me to see Linzy holding a knife and smirking.

She was about to throw the knife at me when she smiled and turned it towards Linzy's chest.

She slammed the knife into her chest. I could feel tears  streaming down my face as I watched my best friend fall.

"No!" I screamed. Piece by piece, my heart shattered. Every memory, every adventure, everything that we did together came into my mind.

I ran to her and pulled her into my arms "L-Linzy I         n-need you to f-focus on my v-voice o-okay"

"I n-need you to s-stay with m-me" I stuttered

She turned her head weakly and faced me "t-take c-care  o-of  y-your s-self f-for m-me" she said softly and fell out of my arms "no....no Linzy!"

"Linzy stay with me!"

"Linzy!"
