A/N - So in the previous chapter Danny's birthday party was meant to come earlier, but since I'm so terrible at updating, this chapter is about Niall's 20th.

which btw still makes me sad.

i love you niall.

please comment on what you'd like to see in the next chapter!

updates will mostly be reserved for weekends, but i'll be adding to my drafted chapters whenever I can during the school week.

I woke to the feeling of Niall's warm arms wrapped round me, his blonde hair looking rough from...last night.
I blushed as I slightly looked down at my clothes before unhooking Niall's hands from my waist.

Today was his 20th birthday, and he had no idea what I’d planned in secret with the rest of the guys.

My feet touched the carpet as I slowly made my way to the hotel bathroom - my legs really hurt.
I heard Niall laugh in the background, "Having fun?"
I shook my head, "I'm suffering."

Niall raised an eyebrow suggestively and I rolled my eyes, not wanting to make his ego any bigger.

Stumbling along, I closed the bathroom door behind me and turned on the shower tap, allowing the temperature to settle before stepping in.

When I came back into the room, Niall was checking his phone, frowning.
"Hey, Ni, what's up?" I leaned on the bed with one knee to kiss him on his slightly stubbly cheek.
My right hand reached up and combed through his hair, untangling little knots as I felt his gaze on me. He smiled, placing his hand on my lower back, "Morning, gorgeous. I was just looking at the twitter trends.” He smiled and I nodded.

“Oh, I see.”

“Do you know what day it is today?” Niall asked, biting his lip.

“No, why?” I stifled a small smile, pretending I’d forgotten his birthday.

I’d even resolved not to think about his party when I was around Niall, because he always knew when I was hiding something.

“Oh, no reason.” Niall looked sad, and I wanted to give up there and then.

“Well, okay. Why don’t you go have a shower and then we can go meet everyone?” I suggested.

Niall heaved himself out of bed and I walked closer to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. Every second I was with him made me cherish what we had even more.

“And about that Mr Jones guy, that’s why I was frowning earlier.” He pecked my lips and let me go as he went to the bathroom.

I sighed and waited until I was sure Niall wasn’t going to come out before beginning my rush around the room, collecting his presents from beneath the assortment of clothes in my pink suitcase.

Tonight, we’d be going to the Funky Buddha club – but, for now, I just had to focus on getting everything perfect for this morning.

I’d forked out on a new iPad, Nike trainers and a denim jacket just for him.

I’d also found a small book filled with quotes – there wasn’t one which I couldn’t relate to Niall and me.

Putting all these in a shiny, blue bag and setting it down on the bed I’d just made, I heard a knock on the door. “Room service!”
