A/N -
Okay, so after a month of people spamming me to update, here we are :)
Sorry, this update was rushed to be put together, so it basically has no plot,
But I hope it will do for now!
Comment, vote, and my apologies
xx
Thanks for being so patient!

“Alex!” I ran up to the tall boy and he squeezed me in a tight hug.
“Hello there, Olivia,” He grinned and linked arms with me.
“I hope you don’t mind; we’re going out for lunch with my parents first.”
I raised my eyebrows, “Meeting the parents already?”
He laughed and nudged me with his elbow, “I’m sure Niall wouldn’t like it. And neither would my girlfriend.”
I gasped, “Oh, Alex! I’m so happy for you!” I grinned and then asked for her name.
"Lana," He said thoughtfully, letting her name roll off his tongue as if it was precious.
A look of love was in his eyes, reminding me of the way Niall looked at me - and I at him.
"I'll need to meet her soon, you know; to see if I approve." I winked, making him laugh.
I was the least intimidating of all his mates.
Being with one of my guy best friends - Alex - was possibly the best thing, next to being with Niall.
Looking up at the boy with the open face and slight smirk on his face, I realised that - although my feelings for him died down long ago - he deserved a girl which would like him as much as I once did.
Alex and I sat opposite each other, with his parents Julie and Andy next to either one of us.
I'd not seen them in ages, and they were concerned about me - remarking about how much healthier I looked and how much they missed seeing me around.
The whole reason I was twenty minutes away from my old neighbourhood was because Alex had persuaded me to come back - collect things I'd forgotten, help sort the bills, close up that part of my life once and for all.
"I'm just going to use the bathroom, excuse me." I politely excused myself and made my way to the clean restaurant bathroom.I took a few deep breaths by the sink, resting my full weight on my trembling arms, my stomach was churning.
I felt sick to the stomach.
My eyes were becoming watery as I remembered the place I was so keen to get away from.
Although I knew I was stronger than this, fear strangled me to the very bone.
I suppose you could never really recover from the past.
By the time I’d returned to the table, Alex’s parents had paid the bill and were talking to the waiter as Alex stood nearby the table, clearly worried at the time I’d taken.
