a/n - after a long time of thinking, I realised that my school work will only double and double, so I'm afraid His Girl is coming to an end. I'll focus on other stories, perhaps rewrite criminal heart and sweet Serenade, who knows?
So here it is; one of the last chapters of his girl.Lots of love xx

**Olivia's POV**
I awoke to the pale sunlight of Amsterdam drenching the windows in its glory.
Blankets, which were chained round my legs messily were kicked aside as I stood up and stretched, eager to open the window and discover the morning.Looking across the room, I zoned in on my camera and fetched it. Then, casting a wary glance at Niall, I flicked the switch on my Nikon and took a picture of him.
Had there been any cure for Monday morning blues, it would be waking up to his angelic face, and knowing that you only had so many hours in the day to spend with him before night time came again and you would return to his arms.
Another lesson I applied to life every day after mum passed away was to never be wasteful nor ungrateful. The balcony doors opened and I inhaled the scent of Amsterdam. Mum once said to me that different scents reminded her of different memories, like a type of déjà vu.
I lifted the camera and held down the shutter, capturing my first picture of Amsterdam.Pleased with myself, I turned off the camera after a few minutes and felt arms touch my waist. I smiled when I realised it was Niall.
"Morning, princess." He turned me around and I pressed my lips to his in a fleeting kiss.
When our eyes met again, I could feel myself become lost in the azure pools of blue staring at me.
His hand traced my jaw and he ran his finger over the sensitive skin, purple and bruised.
"Does it hurt?" He murmured, his eyes perusing me with a certain intensity I couldn't quite decipher.
Shaking my head, I saw Niall sigh slightly in relief."Breakfast and then sight seeing?" He asked me, dropping his hand from my face and giving me a tentative smile.
I nodded, excited for whatever else he had planned.-----
Sunset dimmed the sky in shades of orange and pink, and I sunk my toes in the blanket of green grass I was sat on.
No one was around in this small park, and it relieved me that we had time to share together before we parted again."Hey." Niall muttered, tilting his body so he could see me more clearly.
"Hi." I mumbled tiredly. We'd been busy today; we'd stopped off at more food places and shops than tourist attractions, and taken more pictures with fans than I thought imaginable.
"I got you something." He whispered.Even in the dim light, I could tell he was blushing, and I felt a little bubble of anticipation rise up within me.
"You didn't need to get me anything, Niall. You do enough for us." I uttered.
He shushed me by kissing my hand and delving into his pocket.
In it, he retrieved a small, silver ring. He slid it onto my finger and it appeared to fit magically.
"It's a promise ring." He said, kissing my finger. "Listen, Oll. I know we're always apart and that you're looking for a flat and you still need to pay Mr Jones, but you're not going to do it alone. This promise ring is a sign of commitment...and that one day we'll be together with no separation. It's like a vow."I was almost speechless. Almost. "I believe you, Niall. I know that we'll be together forever, I've known it ever since we said I love you."
He smiled at me. "I've never kissed a girl at sunset."
I wrapped my arm around the back of his neck, "Then kiss me."
