Her POV

His POV
I got up and stopped whatever I was doing to go over to Aria's place. I picked my phone up and called the ambulance. I have to save her. What am I going to do without her? I got on my bike and biked as fast as I could to Aria's house.
I opened the door to her house after unlocking in and rushed upstairs, not even caring about taking my shoes off. Saving her was all that I could think about at the moment. I rushed up the stairs, almost falling until I found the bathroom. I turned the knob but it wouldn't budge. I turned on my side and shoved my body into the door to get it to open and thankfully it did.
I looked around when I saw something blurry under the red water. I rushed over and pulled Aria out. Her eyes were closed and her body was freezing cold. I used two fingers to her neck, checking for a pulse. I was crying, thinking she wouldn't be able to come back.
"Where is the person?!" I heard a voice.
I looked up, holding Aria in my arms and shouted, "Over here!"
Three men came over with a stretcher and took her body away from me. I unwilling gave her up as I went with them to the ambulance. I wasn't going to leave her.
The ambulance wobbled on the roads as Aria's head wiggled side to side on the stretcher. My hand was intertwined with hers as I stared at her pale face and a mask covering the bottom half of her face; her only source of oxygen.
The doors of the ambulance snapped open as they rolled her out down the ramp and into the hospital, taking her to the ER. I ran to catch up with them, only to be restrained by some workers at the hospital.
I heaved some breaths as I tried to calm down, with my face wet from the previous tears. My legs gave out as I sunk to the ground, holding my aching head. I was so scared. What if I was too late? What if she can't be saved? Thoughts of worry ran through my head, wondering if it's too late.
I got up and slowly made my way to the hospital chairs, gripping onto the armrests like my life depended on it. I pulled my phone out and looked at the time: 2:48 AM. I decided to listen to some music to calm myself down and rest my eyes for a bit, sleep overcoming me.
--
I opened my eyes, a piano instrumental playing into my ears. I sat up in the chair, looking at my surroundings. It was empty as the ceiling lights were the only thing keeping the hallway alive at this time.
I seemed to be the only one besides the ladies at the reception desk. I looked over to the sign, the word 'operating' staring back at me in bright red.
I sighed. It's been so long yet the operation hasn't finished yet. I hope she'll be okay. I don't know what I'd do without her. I love her so much. (a.n cringe what am I writing xd)
--
"Daddy, can you help me with this?" A voice called.
I bent down to reach the height of my three year old daughter. I hummed as I brushed a strand of her hazelnut brown hair behind her ear.
"Yes darling?" I replied.
"I can't seem to open this lollipop. It's too hard for me." She frowned, fiddling with the wrapper.
"Really? Here. I'll help you. But you have to do something for me." I said, taking the lollipop from her.
"What is it?" She tilted her head. I mentally gushed since her action was so cute.
"Hm... I want you to kiss me on the cheek." I grinned.
"Okay..." She said, shyly.
I closed my eyes and turned my head, waiting for her. Before she could do it I pulled her into a hug and got up to spin her around. She giggled as I did so. I put her down before getting down on one knee.
"Will you, Jane Summers, accept this cherry lollipop as a token of appreciation?" I said.
She got up and went to kiss me on the cheek.
"I'd love to daddy." She smiled, eyes turning into crescents just like her mother, and my beautiful wife.
"What are you two doing?" I looked over to see Aria in a summer dress, hair down and wavy. I smiled before going over to Aria and pecking her on the lips.
"Nothing." I smiled cheekily.
So in case you're wondering, Aria survived but ended up in a coma for a couple months. She managed to recover quickly and we dated still, till high school ended.
I proposed to her when we finished university and we got married about a year later. We worked hard and saved enough money to settle down.
We're living happily with our daughter and it's been a long way but it's so beautiful and I love where I'm at.
"Wanna go out for ice-cream?" I offered.
"Yeah! I want cookies n cream!" Jane yelled.
"Okay. Let's get your shoes on." Aria said.
The end.
Tada
