Chapter 11:Family dinner

It was the day that Jack is coming to California. I was very excited for him to meet my friends and my family.

* I was at the airport waiting for Jack at the gate. It was almost 30 mins. I finally saw a handsome brown headed guy coming my way.

"Jack!" I said running to him.

"Hey there cutie." Jack saids going to kiss me.

"I missed you a lot." I said smiling in between the kiss.

"I know baby girl. I missed you a lot too." Jack saids.

I took Jack to my aunt house and my aunt didn't mind that he was going to be staying here with me. I invited Mel and Cam so they could meet Jack. Bri had Lori over. Ugh why?

I loved Bri and all her other friends expect Lori. She just seems like a home-wrecker .

"Jack meet Cameron. Cameron meet Jack." I said. I loved both of these guys so much. I hope they get along.

"Nice to meet you." Jack saids shaking Cams Hand.

"Nice to meet you too." Cam saids.

"Well, who wants to help me setup the table?" I asked.

"I'll help. " Jack saids. Grabbing me by the waist.

"Okay." I said smiling at Jack.

Cam went to talk to Bri and Lori joined into the convo while Mel was talking to my aunt.

Jack and I set up the table.

"Hey can you give me the plate?" I asked Jack while he was holding the last plate to put on the table. I tried grabbing the plate but he snatched it away from me.
Making me lean into him.

"What's the magic word?" Jack saids. I look up at Jack.

"Please..." I say going to kiss Jack.
Jack gives me the plate and kiss me. Both of us smiling in between.

Cams P.O.V

"Who wants to help me set up the table?" Evie ask.

"I'll help." Jack saids. Grabbing Evie's waist pulling her close.
I felt a feeling of jealously. I tried to brushed it off.

I go over to Bri and see what she is doing.

"Hey beautiful." I said to Bri.

"Hey Cam." Bri saids.

"Whatcha doin?" I said.

"Just texting Sammy." Bri saids.

"How you taking it?" Bri ask.

"Taking what?" I said.

"Evie and Jack being together kissing and you know touching." Bri saids. I look at Evie and Jack laughing and kissing.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I said.

"Oh, Cameron darling. Don't act so stupid." Bri saids.

"I see the way you look at Evie." Bri saids.

"Every time she looks away you give her that look. Like you want her. Trust me, Sammy and I knew it with the two times we all hung out." Bri saids.

"Well, trust me. I like Evie but not anymore. I got over my feelings when I found out she had a boyfriend." I said.

"Okay... Keep telling yourself that." Bri saids. Then Lori came
over. She looked at me and I smiled politely.

"Hey handsome." Lori saids touching my jaw while going to sit down.

"Well....I'm just going to go." Bri saids. Bri walking going to Melanie.

"So Cameron... Wanna get out of here after?" Lori saids biting her lip. I look around.

"What? No, I can't. I gotta stay for Evie." I said. Lori putting her hand on my leg.

"Please Cam." Lori saids pouting.

"Okay..but when everything is over." I said giving in. I hate doing this but I got to take my mind off Evie.

Evie P.O.V

Everybody ate. Then all of us got to playing games. Cheesy games like charades.

When we were about to start Alex came in. Getting back from hanging out with Sammy.

"Hey Alex! You should join us." My aunt saids calling for him.

"Yeah, come meet Jack." My uncle saids. I see Alex coming down. Coming to the living room.

"Nice to meet you." Alex saids going to Jack putting his hand out. I smiled.

"I got an idea. What about girls against boys for charades. The best team wins." I suggested.

"That's sounds fun." My aunt looking at my uncle. My aunt and uncle are competitive. So this is going to be fun.

* We kept playing charades. It was getting pretty loud. It was funny tho seeing everyone so hyped up. I seen Cameron laughing and having a good time.

We met eyes. I smiled. His smile turned to a gentle smile. Then I seen Jack going over to me.

"This is fun so far." Jack saids.

"I'm glad you are having fun." I said putting my head on his shoulder. Looking at Cameron.

After a couple hours it was 9 pm. Everybody started heading out and Jack went upstairs to get ready for bed.

Cameron was heading out. I called his name. He almost forgot his phone.

"Cam! Wait." I ran out of the house to him trying to give his phone back.

"Oh thanks." Cam saids.

"Yeah, I guess I'm the one saving your phone now." I said laughing. I seen his car and then I saw someone in it.

It was Lori.

"Uh, why is Lori in your car?" I ask getting curious.

"Oh was wondering if she could have a ride home." Cam saids. I nod in.

"Oh okay. Well I hope you don't get sucked in." I said.

I said goodbye to Cameron.

Heading back to Jack and getting ready for bed.

I got in bed and Jack grabbed me and cuddled with me. I slept instantly.
