Chapter 27

Cameron's P.O.V

I took breath in between our kiss, then I noticed that Evie was crying.  I wiped the tear off with my thumb.

Evie has a weepy voice. "C-cameron.. I have to go back to Chicago Tonight. "

I let go of her, letting  her breathe. "Is everything okay?" She shakes her head. Crying a waterfall. I took her in my chest. I could feel her heart beating.

Evie let's go. Both cheeks wet of tears falling. "I-I came to you because I knew you would comfort me. The reason I'm like this because of my mother. "

I put the strands of hair that was wet with tears behind her ear. "Is everything okay with her?"

Evie reaptly shakes her head. Taking a deep breath trying not to cry even more. "I don't think..I can't take all of this pain."

Seeing Evie was a good feeling, but seeing her upset just broke my heart. I wanted to hold her in my arms forever. "Evie, I can't bare to see you upset. Im going to Chicago with you."

Evie disapproves. "No, you can't. I don't want to bring more darma in your life. "

I didn't care what she thought. She can't go through this alone.No matter what happened between us I still cared for her. "I can't let you suffer alone. "You will need someone right beside you. Landon will need you to stand beside him."

I told Aaron that I had an emergency. Evie and I stayed at my apartment, she told me how her mother had cancer and she didn't tell me any of this because it was too hard to bare.

Hours past by and I found her head sleeping on my lap while we were watching television. I carried her on to my bed and tucked her in. I turned my back and she grabbed my wrist. "Stay."

I slowly went into my covers right beside Evie, she lift my arm and put it around her as she moves closer to my chest going back to sleep. I looked down at her.

I ponder about what else she's going through right now. She twitches and groan from her sleep. Soon enough I feel asleep too.

I woke up to the sound of Evie singing in the shower.  I groaned getting out of the bed  and started to head my way to the bathroom. 

I smirked. I took off my boxers , jumped in. Evie jumped of surprise while conditioning her. "Cameron, what the hell?"

"Come on baby, this is the perfect way to get my morning started."

Evie's P.O. V

This was the last thing I was expecting Cameron to do. I hated that I was the feeling the same sexual tension as Cameron.

I looked down at Cameron's member. "Isn't he very joyful and up today? " Cameron came close pinning me to the wall. Having my hands above my head, he kisses my lips going further down my body.

Cameron's cuts me off. "Just hold on baby girl." Then I heard a door slam.

"Cameron!" I heard Cameron's mom yelling for him, "You left some of your clothes at my house."

Cameron puts his hand over my mouth. "I'm in the bathroom right now.. taking a shower." Cameron looks at me.  "We are going to finish this later." Cameron shuts the shower off and gets fully dressed. As he was about to head out of the shower he stops, "I told my mom we aren't dating anymore, she thinks that you're already in Chicago."

I grab a towel and wrap around myself. "So, you want me to keep quite and stay in here while you distract her?"

Cameron's nods. "Pleas?" 

I sighed. "Yes, I will." Cameron kisses my forehead making me feel special.
