Chapter 15

Evie P.O.V
I was waiting for Cameron at the lobby to get the money. While I was was waiting I went on my phone. I seen happy birthday tweets from my friends back home and Bri called me and she probably wanted to say happy birthday. Bri couldn't come to the trip because she was too busy.

A few minutes later I seen the elevator door open. It was Cameron , he looked like he was kinda mad and sad at the same time I couldn't tell.

He came over to me.

"Evie..I don't want to tell you..this but Jack... Cheated on you with Melanie." Cameron saids. I denied what I just heard.

"What? No hahaha funny Cameron." I said.

"Evie-"  I interrupt Cameron trying to deny the fact that Jack would ever cheat on me. He said he eyes for me and only me. I trusted those words.

I know he meant those words.

"He wouldn't do such a thing. Now let's go to get my candles!" I said heading to the door.

"Evie stop.." Cameron saids pulling on my arm.

"What?" I said.

"Jack is cheating on you...I know you don't want to know this , but it's the truth." Cameron saids.
I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes. Thinking I know Cameron was telling the truth but do I really want to believe him? No.  Did  I know what was going to happen if I just broke down in tears in front all these people?  No. But I kept my cool.

"I believe you ." I said.

"I just don't want to think about that right now.I just want to get my candles and have a good birthday. Please Cam. " I add.  Cameron nodded his head and we both headed to the store.

While we were walking to the mini store. I couldn't help but be in shock. I want to break down in tears but I was too stressed of what was going to happen next. Cameron looked at me and saw how frustrated I looked.

Slowly he grabbed my hand and I looked him and smiled. We finally got the mini store. I picked out blue regular candles then, I seen they were selling ice cream.

I went over to get some ice cream. I reached in my back pocket to see if I got a few dollars left.

"Don't, I'll pay for it." Cameron saids.

"Okay thanks." I said.

"It's the least I could do since your birthday is kinda ruined." Cameron saids.

"It's not ruined. I have you." I said to Cameron with sincere eyes.
I got my vanilla ice cream with a waffle cone and started eating it. Cam and I started to walk and head back to the hotel.

"Did you want some ?" I asked.

"Don't worry..its not going to be the cotton candy incident." I add.

"Are you sure? " Cameron saids.

"Yes, I'm sure." I say smiling. I gave him the waffle cone and he was about to eat it until I stuffed it right into his face.

I started laughing . Cameron shook his head.

"You little-" when Cameron was about to finish his sentence. He grabbed me and pinned me against the wall building.
