~Aspyn's POV~

{Picture is of Aspyn's Outfit for Dawson's Graduation}

I'm ready.

I walk into Imogen's room. She's alive but barely. She looks worse then she did before. Maybe that's because of all the drugs she's on right now. Her mother sits outside so Imogen and I can have our girl time. I sit in the chair by the bed. "Good morning!" I smile. Don't cry. Be strong for her. "You look great!"

"Shut up, Aspyn!" She moans. I giggle.

"How are your ribs?" I ask.

"Broken."

"How many are broken?"

"Two, it's okay, I'm fine-ish." Her eyes are bloodshot and her mouth had a little bit of dried blood on it.

"I'm glad you're feeling okay. I'm so sorry about last night. None of should have pressured you into going." I feel remorse towards her. I play with my fingers so I don't have to look up at her broken body.

"My mum said the same thing," she laughs, or tries to anyway.

"Really? Well you know what they say: 'Great minds think alike.'" She moans, she's in so much pain. "Okay, well, I'll let you get some rest. You need anything before I leave?"

"I don't think so. If you come visit me tomorrow can you bring me a passion iced tea?"

I think that's the drugs talking, but I'll do it anyway. "Sure."

I walk out. Miles takes his turn. He's only in there for about five minutes like me. Her mother goes back in there when he's done. We both leave that floor.

We decide to visit my mom, since we are here. I enter her room, she look up from her book. "Hey honey why are you here so early?"

"Actually we were here all night, Mrs. Allan." Explains Miles. I smile.

"Why? Is everything okay?" My mother grows worried.

"It's Imogen. She got beat up last night and then she tried to jump off the bridge on the east side of town." I hold back the tears that threatened to spill.

"Oh my, is she alright?"

"She's doing better, she broke two ribs and has cuts and bruises all over her. She coughed up some blood last night. They had to take her into emergency surgery." Says Miles.

"Yeah, but she's stable." I add.

"Well, that's good." My mother smiles kindly.

We sit and talk for a few minutes. I'm still wearing Miles's jacket and my prom dress and he's still in his tux. "I hate to say this," I start, "but I'm tired so I think I'm gonna go home and sleep! Is that okay?"

"Of course, honey. You look exhausted, I love you." My mother and I embrace. My mother gives Miles a hug too. They get along so well.

"Bye Mom." I wave and exit. We walk out of the hospital and into the bright outdoors. We walk to Miles's car and go to my house.

We arrive and both get out of the car. I ring the bell, I left my house key in my backpack. Dad answers the door and immediately hugs me tightly.

We both go inside, I walk over to the couch and let my body fall. Dad, Dawson, Miles, and I all talk about last night. I was terrified and I wasn't even the one being abused. I stand and give Miles his jacket back. I kiss him on the cheek before going upstairs to quickly rinse my body and change. I throw on some pajama pants and a camisole, and then I tie my hair into a bun.  I put on my favorite slippers—they are little cow slippers. I love cows. I walk downstairs and Miles has on different clothes. I've never seen those so they must be spares he keeps in his car. We go into the guest room to watch movies. "We'll be in the guest room!" I shout.
