~Aspyn's POV~
Last night, I spent the night over at Imogen's. I don't want her to go, but I know that it's the best thing for her. We have support group today. Yay! Not really.
I head back to my place to change. I throw on some sweats and a cropped plain white T-Shirt, along with some Uggs. I tie my long brunette hair into a messy bun. I decide it's good enough on the 992,190,453,472,363,728,718,282 try.
I get to support group and Im and Miles are both there today. Thank God! I was terrified of being alone. We do our "hey my name is — and I'm here because I (have) —" circle ritual. I don't know why we do this, we don't ever have new members anymore. I'm pretty sure I was the last one.
Support group ends. It was fast, but not fast enough. We all talk outside and stuff. Imogen goes home early because she is in a lot of pain. I give her a hug and send her on her way.
Miles and I walk around for a little bit. Talk about stuff, university, high school. All in all, my day was rather chill. Miles takes me home, just because I'm to lazy to walk. My brother lets me in and I walk to get some water from the kitchen. I walk upstairs to my room where I find a big box sitting on my bed.
I open the box, there is a envelope on top and it says Aspyn in nice fancy letters. The box is full of hydrangeas. I read the note.
Aspyn,
I hope you don't mind joining me tonight for dinner. The flowers are for you. Don't forget to take them out of the box and into a vase. (I laugh at this part. I'm a very forgetful person). Meet at the park at 6:30 P.M. sharp. Don't forget to wear something nice.
Love, MilesAww, he's so sweet. I call him up. He picks up on the second ring. "Did you like them?"
"Yes, they are beautiful, but how did you get them in here?"
"Oh, I gave them to your brother when I dropped you off at your house earlier. Have you put them in water yet?"
"No. But I'll go that right now." I laugh, as I roll off my bed. "What are we doing tonight?"
"It's a surprise!" He's so mean.
"You know how I love surprises!" He laughs. I hate surprises. They are so suspenseful and...and...ugh. They make everything to drawn out., but he's being thoughtful so I just go with it.
"Yes I do. Do you want to meet there or do you want me to pick you up?"
"I'll have Dawson drop me off. He wanted to go out tonight anyway."
After talking for like a half hour I say: "Okay, well I'm gonna go check up on Im."
"Alrighty. I'll see you tonight, at 6:30, don't forget."
"I won't. I love you, bye"
"Love you too. Bye Aspyn."
I hang up. We have said and done our "I love you" thing. So it's not like it's was our first time saying it, plus nobody says those three words over the phone, especially when it's the first time you say and receive them. I text Imogen saying that I'm coming over. She replies with a quick 'okay, the doors unlocked.'
I walk to her house and walk inside. "Hello?" No answer. "Hello?" I repeat.
"I'm upstairs." Imogen yells. I mean I know she's in pain but gosh that girl's lazy—like me. That's why we're best friends. I walk upstairs and enter her room. "Hey." She says.
