~Imogen's POV~
The few days Zandra and I are together go by in a blur. Zandra is leaving today... and I still have to be here for two more days.
I sit on the edge of my bed watching her pack her stuff with a smile on her face...she has the most beautiful smile. I fiddle with my hands as she zips her bag up, leaving her side of the room blank.
She stands up with a sigh and stretches her back before plopping down on her bare bed. I slowly walk over to her and snuggle into her side, resting my head on her shoulder. "I'm going to miss you."
She leans her head on mine. "It's only for a couple days...but yea, I'm going to miss you too." She says.
We sit like that for a few minutes until we hear a knock on our door. Lucy comes in and smiles down at us."Zandra your aunt and sister are here for you." She says sweetly.
"Alright." She says getting up from beside me, and I immediately feel her warmth evaporate from around me.
"I'll let you two say goodbye." Lucy says quietly before leaving, and shutting the door quietly behind her.
We stand still in the room. I look up from the floor at Zandra...and she looks back at me. "Goodbye." I say silently, trying not to cry...it's only for two days...I tell myself.
She moves closer to stand right in front of me.
I don't know who moves next, but suddenly our bodies are flush together and her lips are sealed onto mine. I wrap my arms around her and deepen the kiss, moving my mouth against hers.
My hands find their way to Zandra's waist, and I pull her closer to me, her hands tangled in my hair.
When we pull away, our breaths come out heavily. A huge smile grows over her face and makes me grin as well. I pull her into a quick hug and squeeze her like I'm never going to see her again.
"Can't...breath.." Zandra says with - short laugh.
"Sorry." I quickly say, letting her go.
Zandra steps back and grabs her discarded bag off of the floor. "Bye, Imogen." She says before heading towards the door. "Be good, okay? I'll see you in a few days....I know where you live." She says like a freak, laughing at the end.
"Yea..okay." I say laughing, but already missing her touch.
She opens the door and reveals Lucy waiting on the other side. "You ready?" She says to Zandra.
She looks at Lucy and nods, but then comes running towards me. She pecks me on the cheek, and walks away with a smug look on her face.
Lucy stands shocked in the doorway, and my face automatically starts to heat up.
"Now I'm ready." Zandra says before walking past Lucy and out the door. Lucy follows, but not before giving me a wide smile, and shutting the door.
I think I'm alone, but not even five seconds later Zandra swings the door open and sticks her head in. "Love ya babe!" She says with a wink and quickly shuts it behind her. I can hear Lucy's laugh from the other side of the door, and I stand shocked in the middle of the room.
