PROLOGUE
Rochelle's POV
I've been walking around for hours and still can't find any signs to lead me anywhere away from here. I keep looking, left and right, nothing. I looked at my feet, unprotected, covered with blisters. I sat down by the road, not bothering about the dirt since I'm already covered in it. I barely had any shred of clothing left to cover me. At least my undergarments were still in tact.
I felt my hair. It was short now. It'd take a while to grow it back to its original length. I tried to keep my mind calm. Not thinking of the recent events but my eyes started to well up. My body sure hasn't forgotten anything at all. I was shivering all over. I was alone and it was the scariest thing I've experienced in my whole life. But I kept trying to push it out of my mind.
As I kept focusing on getting rid of my memories, I didn't notice the flashing lights ahead of me. I was only able to notice them at the last second before everything went black.
