At Samantha's sleep over, Robin, Courtney, Breana, and Nikki giggled like the thirteen year olds they were. Like most sleep overs, the girls were playing truth or dare, until their friend Bryn came over.
They were confused when she didn't return their hugs. Instead, Bryn walked over to Cortney and snatched the bowl of Ice cream. Scoop after scoop dissapered in her mouth.When the bowl of Ice cream was scraped empty after seconds, she gave it back. Trying to break the confused silence, Samantha said some thing like, "Want some popcorn?" And still, Bryn said no and only wanted to know about ice cream. Samantha noticed her twisted smile that stetched only a pinky from her ears. Telling Bryn her mother said they couldn't eat any more, Bryn's smile twisted into a small fake one.
Still keeping an eye on Bryn, the five girls turned on a movie. Samantha didn't know what they were watching, because she was to absorbed in Bryn's continuous uninteligeble mumbles. After the third movie, still mumbling to herself, Bryn excused herself to the bathroom.
Hours later, with Bryn still in the bathroom, Samantha and decided they couldn't sleep. Sneaking down the stairs for juice, the two girls were supprised to see Bryn going through three tubs of ice cream.But the Ice cream wasn't the only weird part nither where her....claws. Her face was. her face looked deformed and her teeth long and sharp, her body was twisted abnormally. She groweled and glared at them.
Holding hands, the two girls bolted up the starsTthe banging sound of putting things infront of the door woke up the rest of the girls. It was a silent, restless night.
The next morning, Samantha got a call. she could guess who it was, but there was no number. The caller ID didn't even say "Unknown" or "Restricted". Dissmissing it, Samantha answered her phone. "Turn on the news." a voice growled. Unsure, Samantha did as she was told. First it was only the weather reports. But then the news reporter looked sad, "A girl died last night in a car accident, around 10 p.m. She was found with ice cream all over her face. Her parents tearfully informed Channel 6 that the girl, Bryn Sanders, had never tasted ice cream before." No one said a word.
