Vanessa's point of view

"Where are you going babe?" Calum asked as I wrapped a red bandana around my head. "Photoshoot?"

"We have an interview." I said and he blinked. "Yes, me and you, remember?" I asked and he shook his head. "Get dressed then." I urged and he nodded.

He pulled his sweats off and I took a deep breath. "Why do you never have boxers on?" I asked him and he laughed as he pulled a pair on.

"I'm at home, boxers to me, are bras to you. I hate wearing them around the house." He said and I shrugged, taking that as a legit answer.

I finished getting dressed and then sat down on the bed as I crossed my legs. "You're driving, I haven't had any sleep because Dakota kept kicking me." He said and I nodded.

"I'm chill with that." I said and he pulled on a random t-shirt. "Still repping Drop Dead?" I asked him and he nodded as he pulled a flannel on.

"Hell yeah. In speaking of, are you up for a photoshoot for the company's LA branch?" He asked and I nodded. "It's later on tonight though."

"I can do that, I'm free." I said and he smiled as he pulled on some black skinny jeans. I sat on the bed and then crossed my legs.

"How long is this interview again?" He asked and I said it shouldn't be any longer than ten minutes. "Don't you have a photoshoot today too? Again?"

"Yeah, for Hot Topic. I have to wear bikinis, it's around three." I said and he told me that he was going to stay backstage of that. "Of course you are." I said and he laughed.

He laced on some boots after putting socks on and then pulled a beanie over his messy hair. "I'm ready." He said and I smiled as I stood up. "Come on."

-

"Today we're joined by Vanessa Hemmings of Moonlit Skyline and Calum Hood of 5 Seconds of Summer." The interviewer said and I smiled as I waved.

"So, to start this all off, you're both bassists, song writers, and singers?" He asked and Calum shrugged as I nodded.

"I took a short break from performing because of our kids and all, but before yes, that's what I did. Songwriting is still with me though, I do get called in for song writing." He said and I nodded.

"Let's get to that, how do you feel about starting up touring and performing again after so long?" He asked and I looked at Calum.

"I'm excited. I miss being able to perform and I hope the guys are ready to be stuck with me again. I've missed it so much." He told the interviewer and he nodded.

"Vanessa, your band's album is coming out at the end of the month, how excited are you for that?" He asked me and Calum smiled.

"I'm very excited. We've put so much effort into making this a fun, upbeat album for others to enjoy. I'm proud of the songs we've written and I hope fans and everyone else who hears it, hopefully loves it as much as we do." I told him and he nodded.

"Your band, Moonlit Skyline, how did you guys get your name?" He asked and I laughed as I looked at Calum.

"When Calum and I were younger, the only time we'd be able to do anything together was at night or on his rare days off. The skyline was always beautiful with silhouettes of buildings and shining stars and of course, the moon. So, that's why I pitched it, but the others have their own story for it and agreed to use it. It's more of a personal meaning to us all then a, 'we need a name so let's just use this'." I told him and he nodded.

"You and Calum have been together for quite some time now, eight years?" He asked and I looked at Calume. "Since you were fifteen and he was twenty, right?"
