Vanessa's point of view

"Today I'm happy to announce that we have Moonlit Skyline on our show today! Please welcome Miranda, Vanessa, Francisco, and Keath." The interviewer said and I followed Andy out, smiling and waving at the small crowd and cameras.

"Hi guys, how are you?"

"Hey." We sell said and I sat down beside Keath and Cisco. "We're doing great. Absolutely fantastic. How are you?" Keath asked and the interviewer smiled.

"Wonderful." She answered and nodded. "Now, your album just came out, isn't that exciting?" She asked us and I laughed.

"Very. We worked hard on it and we really hope the fans and everyone else who listens to it, enjoys it." I said and she nodded.

"Right. I gave it a listen last night, actually listening to the lyrics, and I didn't know you guys could be so vulgar. You all look so innocent." She said and I laughed loudly with the band.

"Yeah, there are some songs that can't be played for children. Not every song is like that, but the ones that are, please be a decent human and don't play for children." Andy said and the lady nodded.

"I know. I was listening to it and my cat just leaves the room and I was like 'same'." She said and we nodded. "My favourite song has to be Love Locked Down. Before anything, I honestly have to ask, how did you write that one?"

"That was all Vanessa and Calum actually." Keath said and I looked at my hands as I nodded.

"Yeah, I think everyone knows the story on how I was fifteen, he was twenty, and we were together romantically. We knew everyone would flip, and they did, so we kept it like lowkey." I said and she nodded, seeming genuinely interested.

"Okay."

"Um, we took that case and kind of twisted it, so the song's not really about us, though it was inspired by us. We were up at three am reminiscing about that and Calum said that our love was on lock down and then he grabbed a notebook. He jotted down the entire bridge in like a minute and that's how it came to life. It was three in the morning and we were messing around trying not to wake our kids up." I said and smiled.

"The song is so powerful, one of the most powerful songs on the album. Why did you write it?" She asked me and I shrugged.

"Um, we thought the song was pretty symbolic and we got to finally share our feelings about what happened then. I mean, it's not the best feeling having to share kisses when everyone's asleep and having to hold hands under the table because your dad will flip." I said and shrugged.

"The song can also be used for the LGBT community, so that's why se decided to keep the song on the album." Cisco said and I nodded. "Originally, we were going to set it aside for the second album, since we wanted a playful mood to this album. However, with all the cases going on with harassment, oppression, and pure blown abuse towards people in that community, we thought we'd give our share in helping."

"In speaking of, isn't half of this band apart of the LGBT community? I read it somewhere." She said and I nodded.

"Francisco here is pansexual and Miranda is bisexual." I said and nodded. "Me and Keath are straight but we do support everyone who isn't one hundred percent." I told her and she nodded.

"Was it hard when you came out to your fans? Was it anything like coming out to your friends and family?" She asked and Andy shook her head.

"My parents didn't take it too well because we are a very religious family. They weren't keen on it and told me it was a phase. However, after awhile, they got used to it when I came out publically. Our fans took it surprisingly well, a majority of the replies being 'watch out Cisco I'm gonna take ya girl'. It was something." Miranda told her and she nodded.
