I woke up with a slap in my face. "Oww!" I screamed and Kristine sat quickly. "What happened?!" She said, fixing her hair and face. "You slapped me!" I said touching my face. "In the face!" I added. "Oops, sorry." She said touching my face slightly. "It has an imprint." She said to me while laughing. "I'm really sorry." She said and kissed my cheek. I remembered when I had a bruise on my knee because Kristine pushed me and I fell on the grass. She washed my knee and put a band-aid and kissed it 'so that my love will take away the pain you feel' she said. "Does it hurt?" She said, snapping me from my thoughts. "At first, but now it's gone because your love that came from your kiss took away the pain." I said to her, smiling. She cupped my face and kissed me. I kissed her back. She slowly parted her face and rested her forehead onto mine. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you too." I whispered back to her and kissed her again. She sat back again. "Why did you slap me anyways?" I asked her. "I had a nightmare." She said to me, her face filled with horror. I sensed that the nightmare is really bad.
