I bought my lunch and sat with Sophia. I looked at Kristine at the other table. I gave her a smile and she smiled back. I realized Sophia was sitting next to me. "What do you want to talk about?" I asked her. "I want to talk about Kristine." She said to me while applying lipgloss and looking at her reflection. "What about Kristine?" I asked her. She gestured for me to lean closer to her. "She's in love with you." She whispered to me. I was so shocked. "No, you're wrong. She can't be." I said to her. "I know it's shocking. It also shocked me. Kristine? Falls in love with her best friend? That's so creepy." She said to me. I looked over at Kristine's table and she smiled at me. I turned to Sophia. "How did you know?" I asked her, my tone a bit angry. "Oh, let's just say a close person to hers told me." She said smiling. A bunch of guys and girls came towards us and they sat. "Who do you have there, Sophie?" A guy with a muscular body asked her. "This is Tyler, we were talking about something." She told them. "Well, introduce us to him." Another guys asked. "Tyler, that is James." She pointed to the muscular guy and the guy waved. "Marissa" She said, pointing the girl with black curly hair. "Kezziah." She said pointing to a girl with wavy hair. "Spencer." She said, pointing to a guy with glasses and has a muscular body. "And Mark." She said, pointing to a guy that has a dark brown skin tone. "Hey." I said to them and they all waved to me. "You could eat with us whenever you like!" Kezziah said. "That's because you're hot." Marissa added. I blushed and said nothing. We ate and talked and laughed then the doorbell rang. "Bye guys!" They all said. Before I went away, Sophia grabbed my wrist. "Remember what I said about Kristine and you could eat with us!" She said and I thanked her. I went to English class and can't stop thinking about what Sophia said about Kristine. It can't be true. I should find out, maybe have a sleep over for all of us.
