50. Realization

I stood from my chair and went to Sophia. Her and her friends were looking at the stage, waiting for the coronation. "Tyler, fell for it. He believed that I love him. He even left his ugly friend just for me!" She said and all of them were laughing. I stopped walking towards them. "Yea, he believed he's part of our group! So naïve!" A girl told her. "I know right!" She said to them. "By the way, James harassed her, just like we told him." Another girl told her. "You owe him big, Sophie." The other one said. "Sophia?" I finally called to her. They all turned around and Sophia's face was shocked. "Love? How long have you been standing there?" She stepped closer to me, trying to reach for my hand but I stepped back. She stopped her footsteps and her friends walked away, leaving us for a moment. "Is it true? All of the things you said?" I asked her. She ducked her head and played with her thumbs. "Yes, love." She whispered. "But I really love you! I just said that to them, love!" She added. "You commanded James to harass Kristine?!" I screamed at her. "Yes, love." She said. She reached for my hand but I didn't let her. "Don't ever call me 'love'. They were right, she was right. You'll only break my heart. And you even harmed my best friend! Now I realize..." I trailed off, deciding if I should say this. "I realize that I'm in love with her. She did everything just for me. We're over." I said to her and I walked to my my friends. "You were right guys, I'm sorry." I said to them. They pulled me in for a hug. "It's okay, Tyler. We know you will know the right thing." Matt said to me. "Is it true?! That you're in love with her?!" Irish and Liezel squealed. "Well, you guys made me realize that." I said to them. "I gotta go, I'm gonna go home and visit Kristine tomorrow." I said to them. I went to the car and drove home. I explained everything to mom, dad and Chris. They were relieved. Mom said that she knew it would happen in the first place. Dad said that he's glad that my friends are back together again. And Chris said that Kristine can bake her apple pie. I went to sleep, happy that everything will he back to normal.
