Part 4: Reasons

All arrived at the meeting point, and that’s exactly the time when all the others just arrived. Petra immediately lets go of her grip towards the captain’s waist. Of course, it was obvious that Eren saw all that. As she looked at the distance where her squad mates are, there is another horse reserved for her.

                Levi sped his horse towards them. "There's your horse. Go on and hop on it, then we leave." Levi instructed her.

"Thank you captain." She put her left foot together with her right, and was about to step down, but suddenly, she lost grip. She was about to had her face flat on the ground, luckily, Levi had his arm in front of her, grabbing her under arm.

"Please... be careful. You're becoming quite clumsy... Petra... just stay on this horse then." instead of talking more, he went down and then rode the other one supposedly reserved for her.

Again, her mind was blank. She did not feel embarrassed, but then, it was uncanny of him to be too much of a gentleman in front of the others. Normally, he was cold, aggressive, rude and kind of sadistic but this act has shown he is not. Probably, he wanted to show Eren he was a person to be afraid of in this planet, but for her, it is the complete opposite.

They headed towards the former headquarters, Erd and Gunther was in the lead, Eren amd Auruo in the middle and of course, both Levi and Petra in the rear. Petra was observing Levi since he was constantly eyeing at Eren with dead, cold and souless eyes.

"Uhh hehe... captain, are you eyeing on him too much?? He can't even face this direction even if he was talking to Auruo." She sighed and chuckled.

"I want to convince myself that he is an ally and hope for mankind. If he turns into a titan, then I'll immediately kill him without any further hesitations. Devils are always devils. They can act good, but you don't know their true colors if you observe them. But if he’s human, then I’ll consider this brat as my ally." He answered her while looking at Eren, plainly, and emotionless. After that, Eren suddenly looked their way and saw Levi staring at him coldly. Of course, Petra saw his startled face and at that exact moment, Auruo resumed the conversation and again, bit his tongue. To Petra, it was amusing to have Eren, since she sees unexpected behavior from Levi. Eren was silent, and was not afraid if Levi. He must be respecting him at the moment. It was funny, at the same time, amusing. The both of them will surely get along.

They arrived, and the headquarters appeared in form of a castle. It wasn't that classy, but it was simple. As they put the horses to the stalks, Petra walked to a certain well and then washed her face.

"Hey Petra!" Auruo sat down by the stairs near the well and bragged about how Eren was silent, and was afraid of him. Petra got irritated, since he was imitating Levi's way of speaking. Time passed as well, he copied how he dressed and his hair style.

"If you are imitating the Captain, you better stop now." She stated in a cold way. "You weren't like that before. The both of you aren"t the same." The both of them were friends, since she entered the scouting legion. But now, it seems he is becoming someone he isn't supposed to be.

"You know what? You a step away to becoming my wife don't you think?" Auruo pridely told her. Now she was irritated, and annoyed due to the fact that it was Levi she likes. Not him.

"Just shut up will you??" She answered harshly. “You’re so pathetic!!” A few seconds passed by, and then they were called to the front of the main doors.

They were instructed to look at the castle, and it was dirty. Now she had a thought that Levi wouldn't like this at all, since he loves to make things CLEAN.
