We will start by following Troye through the time spent apart.
He isn't to keen on being all alone.
He can manage though.
He looks at his pink sippy cup in one hand, and then looks to the other. "Wait. Where is my dolly?" He whispers to himself. "No no no no. No. I need to find him." He mumbles, tears pricking his eyes and his heart thumping. The crowd suddenly becomes overwhelming. "No. I can't have lost him." He mumbles again, sweating. Tears are streaming down his face. This isn't just about the doll. Now he is having a full blown panick attack.
The kind that make his little candy heart crack.
He hugs his arms around his body.
A choked sob escapes his tiny body.
He wipes his tears on his sweater and runs behind an inflatable circus clown.

Eventually he calms himself down.

After deep breathing, he steps back out determined to find his doll. As he begins to walk, his determination wavers. The noise is too loud and the lights are too bright. That is when he feels it.
The tap on his shoulder.

He turns around and freezes.
His sippy cup falls from his hand.
"You dropped your doll-"
He can't finish the sentence.
There stands a little boy with a balloon in one hand and a doll in the other.
This isn't just any little boy, however.
It's Troye's little boy.

Connor.

Let's take a break from the intensity for a minute, and pan over to Crybaby.

She is walking peacefully along among the rides, clutching the teddy bear she won, until she spots it. The carousel. She is magnetized towards it, but also repelled. Still, she can't stay away. She wanders over, handing the booth boy three tickets. She hums along to the haunting, nostalgic tune as she waits.
A/N: It's the tune from the beginning of the song carousel.
Soon she is released through the gate, and runs up to choose her favorite horse. It is pale and pearlescent, with baby blue hair that reminds her of cotton candy. My cotton candy heart.
Crybaby knew this would happen. She knew there would be another flashback but she just couldn't resist. She clutches her teddy and holds on tight as the ride begins and so does her memory. It all plays out in her head like a flickering old movie:
Johnny sitting in front of her.
His sweet little green overalls that he wore that day.
How she had first fallen for him.
He had stolen her cotton candy and run. She had chased desperately, laughing and calling his name. How the  horses went so very slow. She was so close and so far. The same music had been playing. She remembered reaching forward to touch him, her hear beating fast. She strained and was almost there-
Poof. The ride is over.
Crybaby gets off and walks away sadly. Her heart is blue for a moment. She grabs the feeling for dear life. Then it goes numb. Tears.
She pulls out a pacifier and makes her way into the warm afternoon.

Much can't be said about what Electra does today. She comes back even worse than before, though. There is broken glass under her shoes and a strange look in her eyes.

Lana is parading around her prizes, acting likes beauty queen. A few girls throw sticks at her. She ignores it.
But little does she realize that bad thing that is happening nearby.
The wolf man sits in his booth, eyeing her Hollywood strut and little skirt.
He has his eyes set on her, just like tag.

Why did such a nice day  have to spoil like milk?

Now back to Troye, and his situation.

Connor.
Oh Connor. Does he realize how Troye feels? Does he realize that just handing him the doll he lost is enough to make him shatter? Well at least he feels it too. As they stand there looking at each other, they feel everything at once.
Troye reaches down to pick up his sippy cup.
"I.. Uh.."  Connor can do nothing but stand there and blush.
Troye says something without thinking. He can't hold back.
"I miss you."
He is staring in to the blue eyes across from his.
Connor can't speak. He can only grab Troye's little cold hand and mumble something inaudible.
A/N: listen to Audible! Like Connor!
Troye is shocked. He looks down at his hand and smiles.
Maybe today isn't as bad as we thought.
Another long chapter
I suck at plots and stuff but
