Carnival day

"Good morning!"
Lana yawns.
The friends meet together under a big tree with a swing hanging from it.
Troye has his doll again today. In his other hand there is a sippy cup.
"The fair is today!" Electra says, clapping her hands together.
"Oooh! Cotton candy! Balloon animals!"
Crybaby lights up. Carnivals are one of her favorite things. Sometimes she is able to calm down her crazy mind and act careless there.
She grabs Lana's hands and spins around, both of them laughing.
"I'm so excited!"
"Let's go!" Troye calls, running down the hill.
Electra cheers and follows.
Soon they arrive at the busy fair grounds.
Everything is alive and colorful, and there is a lot to take in.
"Look! Cotton candy! Let's go this way!" Crybaby smiles, pointing toward the stand. When they arrive, crybaby has to stand on her tiptoes to see over the counter.
" Two pink and Two blue, please."
She drops a handful of tickets on the counter in front of her. She watches mesmerized as the boy behind the stand spin the paper come into a big bundle of sugar.
Soon she hands the cotton candy out to her friends. Blue for her and Troye, pink for Electra and Lana.
"Where too next?" Asks Lana, taking a chunk out of her cotton candy.
"Can we do face painting?" Electra eagerly chimes.
"Yeah! Let's do that! I want to get a....... Blue moon!" Troye says. "On my cheek."
They make their way over slowly, because the crowd is thick.
Once they arrive, Troye takes a seat and begins explaining what he wants. Electra already knows as well, because she often does this on herself for fun. She wants a little black heart on her cheek. "You two should get something on your cheek too. We can all sort of match." Electra says. Even though her tone of voice often sounds sarcastic and bored, her friends have learned that it's just an illusion. She really can care, but just doesn't want it to seem like it.
"Sounds nice" agrees Lana, searching through the designs that have been drawn on paper plates for ideas.
Crybaby picks a teardrop. "Ha. I get it. Because you are a Crybaby." Says the girl doing Crybaby's face paint. Crybaby gives her a sizzling glare. Before they leave, crybaby will splash milk on this girl. Then they will all run, laughing.
Lana eventually chooses a rose.
Once they are all suited up, they go to the rides. They decide on the Ferris wheel.
Once they get on and begin to rise, Troye claps his hands and giggles. "I love these!"
Crybaby peers over the side of their compartment and checks the scene.
In the cart just below, two older girls sit across from each other, laughing. They both have small aliens on the corner of their t-shirts.
Crybaby decides that she likes them. They seem different.
"Oh! We are almost there!" Says Electra, yanking crybaby from her thoughts. "I love the view." Lana sighs happily as she gazes at the clouds.
When they reach the top, they all cheer and chatter excitedly. Soon they are descending smoothly.  "Can we split up for a while?" Asks Lana as they step out of the compartment. "Sure. There is something I want to do anyway." Electra replies. Her voice is laced with the sound of mischief and recklessness. They know she is in one of those moods. They know to stay away if they don't want to be in deep trouble.
"Ok... Meet you all here at... Sunset?"
"See ya!" Says Electra, laughing in a sickening way. "Please don't get hurt." Lana calls after her, but she is already gone. "Bye." Mumbles Troye, sucking on his sippy cup. Soon they are swept away in the crowd.

Ok so this is very looong but I really enjoyed writing it. Part 2 will come soon, hopefully.
XOXO
