It's not very unusual for teenagers to be awake late at night.

Alessia is sighing and trying to push away her own problems. Everyone else's seem more important.

Brendon bolts awake at midnight. Something is very wrong but he doesn't know what.

Lana is staring at her body in the mirror and trying desperately to like herself. She is feeling better because the bruises have faded.

Crybaby never went to sleep, she is trying to think of a way to help Johnny. She doesn't even know what is going on, It's unexplainable. She doesn't want him to be like Troye: scared and betrayed.
She stays awake.

Troye is awake. He is on the phone with Connor, crying his eyes out and explaining Jacob. Connor is just whispering sweet things. Neither of them are supposed to be awake.

Johnny is holding his breath and hiding behind a brick wall in the chilly night air.
He can't get caught.
This is a twisted game of hide and seek.
The boys who he once called his friends are now hunting him down. They told him to meet at the playground for fun at midnight. When he arrived he couldn't find them. Then suddenly he could, and they surrounded his shaking frame.
A plot to beat the boy for their own fun.
Now Johnny sits and waits and prays.

Jacob is vomiting in his toilet and thinking about what he ruined.

Electra is cracking under pressure and staring way too considerately at a plastic baggie of blue pills. In everyone's desperation to fix each others' struggles, they haven't noticed her own.

1am brings no sleep. Neither does 2.

That means that everyone is awake when it happens.

On two different sides of one town, two girls sit in their bathroom and decide to swallow a few too many pills.

One makes it to the morning.
