Everyone feels different things at different times. While you are giddy, giggling and happy, someone else could be sobbing on their bathroom floor covered in their own blood, and yet another person could be at the top of a roller coaster about to make the biggest drop. Yeah, it's strange but there's nothing to be done but live your life and learn about people.

At first, Troyes eyes are just kind of wide. Jacobs heart begins to sink.
Suddenly Troye registers it.
"Yes! Oh my god yes!!" He says so fast it's almost hard to understand. He is over the moon grinning and his stomach is fluttering with excitement.
The only problem is, they can't celebrate too loudly.
The school they attend isn't very friendly to people who are different. The fact that two boys like each other would make the other students mad.
Jacob reaches under the table to grab his hand for a minute and gives it a squeeze.
Alessia is bouncing up and down happily and shaking Jacobs arm.
The others seem to have a good idea of what's going on but need proof nonetheless.
Electra snatches the fortune from Troyes lap before covering her mouth and beaming at Troye. Everyone, especially Crybaby, passes it around joyfully. Lorde hands it back to Troye, slightly more rumpled than before. He carefully places it back in the plastic bag again, then slips it into the pocket of his jacket.
Crybaby peers behind her to see Johnny at the table of sporty boys. He is laughing with them about some probably offensive joke, but she can't help but notice his sweet dimples that show up and the way his eyes crinkle around the edges.
He notices her stare and flashes her a quick grin, which she returns, knowing sadly that she can't actually talk to him unless they are out of sight. She has even kept their growing friendship hidden from the group, except Troye. She had talked about it the other night when he was comforting her and she was telling him about the nightmare and about Johnny and their special day before. The rest of lunch is spent with Troye grinning at Jacob every once and a while, their feet touching under the table. Alessia noticing every shared glance between them and feeling giddy.
Crybaby talking with Electra about her encounters with Kayla. Lana conversing with Harley and Yolandi about makeup and the Christmas dance. "Blue. I'm so glad he is happy." Electra says to Crybaby, turning to see Troyes hand resting on Jacob's under the table.
"Yeah, Me too." Crybaby mumbles. The days pass slowly, each one is not too eventful, except for Wednesday.
After school on Wednesday afternoon, Troye heads out on a walk in the woods with his camera, only to find Crybaby and Johnny together, lying on a blanket with sandwiches in their hands.
"Sorry to intrude." Troye says, peeking through the clearing around them as he sits down. "Don't worry." Johnny says with a smile, handing Troye a sandwich.
"You're Troye, right? She talks about you a lot." He says, gesturing at Crybaby sitting on the blanket behind him. She looks at the ground smiling. "Yeah." Troye says, laughing.
They visit for a while, and Troye gets to know Johnny better. Troye decides that despite his rude friends, he is a sweet boy at heart.
He pulls his Polaroid camera up to his eye. Crybaby and Johnny are laughing at something together.

Next they are leaning in to each other.

The last one before he leaves is his favorite. Crybaby's head is in Johnny's lap, and she is peacefully smiling with her eyes closed while Johnny plays with her half- bleached hair.
