Chapter 19

Within a few weeks Faryal was quite famous, she was the face of Armani and Swarovski. It was time for her to go back to med school and to face Kasim, Faryal called Zainab and told her everything. Zainab was shocked and said, "Faryal, I understand everything but you can't do this to Kasim, he loves you a lot and I know you love him equally as much. Please don't make a mistake that you will regret all your life".

"How is Kasim anyways?" asked Faryal.

"I don't know, Ijaz tried contacting him but he never picks up and is never at home" said Zainab.

"Oh that's strange..." Said Faryal.

"Yeah since you left..." Said Zainab.

"Umm Zainab I need to board my flight now, I'll see you tomorrow" said Faryal.

"Ok have a safe journey and see you tomorrow, bye." replies Zainab.

Throughout the whole plane journey Faryal thought of Kasim, why wasn't he answering Ijaz's calls and why wasn't he at home? She felt like calling him but hesitated, it had been 2 weeks since they hadn't spoke. Kasim tried calling her but she was always busy and she couldn't find the courage to speak to him, so Faryal decided to call her dad.

"Hey dad" said Faryal.

"Hi Faryal, how are you?" Said her dad.

"I'm fine dad you?".

"I'm ok but are you sure you're alright? I couldn't ask in front of everyone that day but what's wrong?" Said her dad.
Faryal didn't know what to say should she tell her dad about everything.

"No dad, everything is fine and how is everyone there? Especially Anam?" Asked Faryal.

"Yeah everyone is fine and yeah Anam is better now but she's still not telling why she did it, you know how stubborn she is. Anyways, how's Kasim?" Said her dad.

"Kasim? I don't know dad, we haven't spoken since i came here" said Faryal.

"Oh... He left with his mum, the same day you left. I thought you might have spoken to him, he was quite disturbed and upset before he left. He's a nice guy isn't he?" Asked her dad.

"Oh ok... And yes dad he's a nice guy. Dad I'm feeling a bit sleepy, I'll call you when i arrive" said Faryal.

"Ok bye and take care" said her dad.

Faryal kept thinking should I call him or not, after the constant debate with herself she finally decided to call him.
He didn't pick up, she realised that it was very late and he must be sleeping. Faryal fell asleep thinking about him, Meanwhile when Kasim woke him he looked at his phone, a missed call from Faryal, he jumped up and was just about to call her when he decided not to. It had been 2 weeks and today she decides to call him, he was annoyed, angry, upset and pissed off with her yet missed her so much. Since Faryal left, Kasim went on long drives, he would go to the beach or park for some peace. Sometimes he would go to a care home and spend time with the elderly, he found peace and happiness spending time with them and helping others.

Faryal had finally arrived, Zainab hugged her and said, "YAAAYY you're finally back". At the airport, her fans wanted autographs and selfies so she did. When they got home, Faryal and Zainab quickly got ready and made their way to the uni, Faryal couldn't wait to see Kasim. She couldn't control herself, for now nothing mattered for her, she just wanted to see her Kasim. As they walked into the building, Faryal noticed Ijaz she said hi to him and asked where Kasim was. He said he was here a while ago, Zainab stayed with Ijaz while Faryal went to look for Kasim. She finally noticed him, he was facing the other way talking to someone so Faryal slowly walked towards him. Kasim suddenly felt Faryal's presence, he wanted to turn around but didn't know if he should. When suddenly Faryal tapped his shoulder, he turned around. That moment froze, they didn't speak but said a lot with their eyes. Both overwhelmed with emotions, they were lost into each other's eyes. Ijaz and Zainab came, "uhmmm" they said.
Faryal and Kasim snapped out of it, Faryal was about to speak when suddenly Kasim walked away. Faryal was confused, what just happened. She tried to catch up to Kasim when suddenly she tripped, "Oooowww" screamed Faryal. Kasim looked back and seen that Faryal hurt herself, he ran towards her. People were already helping her up, he just stood there. When Faryal got up, she shouted Kasim but he didn't listen. So before he started to walk away again, she grabbed his hand. He insisted for her to let go but she didn't.
