Chapter 7

Over the past year Faryal, Kasim, Ijaz, Zainab, Mohsin, Safina, Nolan, Sadaf Jason and the rest of their class have been taught about the cardiovascular, respiratory and gastrointestinal systems through dissection, lectures, physiology workshops, clinical skills, ILAs (Integrated Learning Activities), statistics and much more. They have also been guided in the art of reflection, communication and history taking. Now that the year is over it is time to prove to the medical school what they have learnt and sit their exams. Faryal, Kasim, Ijaz, Zainab and Jason made a study group. They would help each other study everyday, Faryal would sometimes get distracted but Kasim would help her focus. After they finished taking all their exams, the summer holidays started. They were finally allowed to go home, Kasim went   as soon as the exams finished while Faryal and Zainab were still stuck in campus. They booked their flights late so the flight they booked was for 2 weeks away. In the meantime, Zainab and Faryal explored America, non-stop shopping and sight seeing. Meanwhile Kasim got a phone call from his mum telling him to go to her friends house in London as she is stuck in Dubai so by next week she will be in London too. Kasim felt awkward about going to his mum's friends house but he had no choice so he went. His mum's friend was really nice and welcoming,
"This is my son Omar and my daughter Anam" said the lady.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kasim".
"Nice to meet you too" said Omar.
Anam couldn't stop staring at Kasim, he started to  feel uncomfortable, "umm if you don't mind can you please tell me where my room is?" Said Kasim.
"Yes, Anam show Kasim the guest room" said auntie.
"Ok mum" replied Anam. Anam pointed who's room was where, "that's Omar's room, that's mine and my sister's room... And here we are the guest room" said Anam.
"Thank you" said Kasim. Anam went away, Kasim jumped on the bed, he was extremely tired so he got changed and fell asleep.
"Get up!" Said Anam.
"Hmm what is it?!" Said Kasim.
"My mum is calling you down to have dinner" said Anam.
"I'm too tired, I want to sleep" said Kasim.
"Sorry but you'll have to come down and have dinner" said Anam.
"Ok" said Kasim. He moved the blanket and got up, Anam stared at his 6 pack abs. Kasim took out a shirt and put it on, he then saw Anam looking at him and said, "I need to make a phone call, you go down" said Kasim. When Anam went away, Kasim quickly took his phone out and saw that he got 19 missed calls from Faryal so he called her back.

"Finally you picked up! Where were you! I was so worried" said Faryal.

"Sorry my phones battery died so I put it on charging also I was so tired so I fell asleep" said Kasim.

"It's ok, I'm missing you so much and  how is your family?" Asked Faryal.

I'm missing you even more and actually my mum is busy somewhere so she told to go and stay in her friends house" said Kasim.

"Oh ok, that's nice. You enjoying yourself so far?" Said Faryal.

"It's ok but I miss you so much, I don't feel like going and doing anything because you are not here" said Kasim.

"Aaaww I miss you too and I know what you mean but don't worry I'll be coming soon" said Faryal.

"Ok babe, I'll talk to you later, auntie made dinner so I need to go down, I'll talk to you later" said Kasim.

"Ok bye, take care I love you" said Faryal.

"Bye, you take care too and I love u too" said Kasim.

So Kasim went downstairs, the family were talking away while Kasim just had his dinner.
"Kasim, we have a party to attend tomorrow and we want you to come with us" said Anam's mum.

"Thank you auntie but how can I? They don't even know me and I'll be fine at home" said Kasim.

"No no it's fine Kasim, Omar is going too so you won't be alone and your mum knows the people who are hosting the party" said Anam's mum.

"Ok I'll come then" said Kasim.

Heeeeeyyy guys I hope you liked this chapter, I haven't been able to update any of my stories as School/College has started and I've been very busy with my NABs(Tests). Also GUESS WHAT?
Sidharth Malhotra is in MY CITY GLASGOW! I'm so excited I really really want to meet him but I don't have time or everytime i found out where he is, he's gone by then but insha'Allah I'll get to meet him soon lol he's here for a month and a half 😍😍😍😍😍😁😁😁😁 also my birthday in coming up lol I think he's my present 😂😂🙈 Anyways plz don't forgot to COMMENT, like and share!!
