I managed to sneak back into the house without being caught by Jerry and Cindy. They were both passed out on the couch with beer bottles surrounding them. Tomorrow will either be a great day if they sleep in from the hangover or the worst if they wake up. I silently made my way up to my room and crashed on my bed.

Tonight has been fun with the guys other than the slap to the face from Ashley. The girl most likely shits herself when she saw all those guns aiming at her. I glimpsed over to the clock on the nightstand. It was 6 o'clock in the morning on the dot. Great! No sleep for me.

I decided to brush my teeth, then take a shower before starting to get dressed for school. I wore some blue wash-away skinny jeans with a black tank top and opened plaid shirt. I grabbed my phone and bag then headed downstairs quietly. I was about to walk out the door until I was yanked back inside. I turned around to see it was Cindy.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE YESTERDAY AND WHERE WERE YOU?!" she yelled. I could smell the beer on her nasty morning breath.

Jerry walked up behind her and if looks could kill, well his world. "ANSWER YOUR MOTHER!" he yelled then slapped me across the face. I felt a sharp sting and burn.

He looked at his ring and then glared at me. "You got blood on my ring you bitch," he growled. He was about to hit me again but Cindy stopped him.

"No. She has to go to school. We'll deal with her tonight," she said smirking along with Jerry. "If you come home late again you will regret it," she threatened me.

I nodded and walked out the door. I pulled out a napkin from my bag and my phone with the camera on. I looked at the scrape that was bleeding on my right cheek. It was 2 inches long. I let out a sigh and wiped the blood off.

I guess one good thing about having powers is one of them being self-healing. The scrap would heal itself in about 10 minutes since it was small. Small injuries take longer to heal rather than big injuries which take less time to heal. Don't ask me how that works because I don't even know.

Math. Math oh how I love you. To be honest I really do love math. I understand it pretty easily and well I'm a fast learner. My second favorite subject is English because in my essays I would also get either a 95 or higher. We were now doing independent work and Ms. Genna was walking around helping some of the students. She stopped next to me and I showed her my paper.

"All correct so far," she said with her smile as her gray hair fell down to the side of her face. Ms. Genna was the nicest teacher in this school. Everyone loved her. "What happened to your cheek Dear?" she frowned with her eyes glued to my scrape.

Shit. I gave her a small smile. "My cat doesn't like to share the bed," I quickly lied.

She looked at me for a few seconds and gave me a small smile. "Oh okay. If you want to talk about anything, I'm here for you."

"Thank you," I smiled before she walked off to another student.

We were now in the middle of lectures on how to do college math. There was a knock on the door and most of the kids were thankful since they hated math. Ms. Genna nodded her head as the person spoke to her at the door. I couldn't see the person because she or he was being blocked by a wall. I shrugged mentally and started working on my assignment sheet.

I heard the door shut and a bunch of footsteps around the room. I ignored it assuming it was visitors who would take notes on her teachings. "Attention everyone. I know you're wondering what's happening right now but this nice man will explain everything," Ms. Genna spoke as I continued working.
