Slowly opening my eyes I looked to see a sleeping person laying in front of me. Lucifer looked so adorable as he was fast asleep. I then realized I was feeling much better. I owed him for making me feel better without the pain. I smiled as he let out a little snort. I slowly wiggled out of his arms making sure he didn't wake up. As much as I wanted to lay there with him some more, I needed food and to release my full bladder.

I ran for the bathroom and quietly shut the door behind me locking it. I did my business and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My hair was everywhere. I twisted up my hair and tied it in a messy bun. I then brushed my teeth and washed my face. After I was finished, I walked back into the bedroom and checked my phone that was on the nightstand. I only received one message which was from James.

James:

Hope ur feeling better when

u are reading this and I don't

want u to be mad but we

found a lead on Valentin. 18

of us are going after him and

his guys. Percy is with Jayson

and 4 of the guys in the safe

house across the island. U

were pretty sick so I made

the call. Don't be mad. We'll

be back in 2 days tops. I

promise to keep everyone

safe and bring them back

BTW we don't need your help

so don't bother getting Lucifer

to teleport u. I already told

him so haa!

I let out a soft sigh as I finished reading the text. I felt like an absolute letdown. The guys left without me all because my stupid ass was sick. They could need my help right now even if he didn't want to admit it. I thought for a second then laughed. All these guys were combat trained to the max. They didn't need my help but I still worry about them. My tummy started to grumble as it was time to eat some food. I looked over at Lucifer who was still sleeping.

I got on the bed and sat with my legs crossed in the position of me looking at his body. I poked his side and I received a mumbled sentence.

"Get up. I'm hungry," I whined. He didn't move so I poked him again by his ribs. This time his eyes shot open and a look of shock came over me.

"If you want to live then don't do that again," his morning voice came out and of course, stupid me didn't listen. I ran my fingers down both of his ribs causing him to burst out laughing.

"Stop," he cried through the laughter but I ignored him. Soon I found myself being flipped over and tickled.

I burst out into laughter. "Not so fun now, huh?" he laughed as he tickled me. I swatted his hand as he kept tickling me.

"St-stop," I begged as I tried to catch my breath. He stopped tickling me and a smirk took over his face. "Say I'm the best and will always be."

I widened my eyes. "You want me to lie?!"

He rolled his eyes then resumed tickling me. I wiggled out of his grip and flipped him over. He fell on the floor and I looked over the bed to see him looking up from the floor.
