The rest of the day went pretty quiet excepting the stares I received from Dominic and his group. Lucifer kept an eye on me at all times while every girl kept their eyes on him. Even at some point, Adriana went up to him and he quickly turned her down. It was pretty funny to watch her storm off. It was now gym time and I was on the bleachers while the students were roaming around the basketball court.
Lucifer was nowhere in sight so I just shrugged it off. A few minutes later Dominic and his group walked into the gym and we all made eye contact. Dominic told the teacher something and he walked out. Soon after, students started to exit the gym one by one. Lucifer walked back in and gave me a quick look. I shrugged my shoulders, not sure what was going on.
Soon Dominic and his friends started walking towards me. It was just me, them, and Lucifer. I stood up getting ready to walk out. I knew nothing good was going to come from this. As I was halfway towards the door, I was pulled back. Lucifer was about to jump in but I used my powers to stop him. He was slightly immune to it but I knew he felt the energy it released. He tensed up before slowly walking towards the belchers and sitting down.
"Now might be a great time to say sorry," Dominic smirked. He then turned to Lucifer. "I'm surprised you didn't leave like the rest of them."
Lucifer shrugged, "I like a good show," he lied.
"You either say sorry or we will all fight you," Michelle grinned.
I looked at Cain and Duncan who also had a grin on their faces. "Including them," Adriana informed me.
I looked at all of them for a second. "So you're all willing to fight me because I didn't say sorry?"
"Yes," Michelle groaned, "Are you deaf?"
"Nope. I just wanted you to hear how stupid that sounds," I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Talk about all pretty and no brains.
"That's it. New girl doesn't know when to shut up," Michelle said, taking off her jacket.
Duncan suddenly spoke up while looking at Lucifer who was now standing up. "Sit down," he spat.
"Duncan, lighten up bro. He's just here to see this chick get her ass beaten," Cain assured him with a pat on the shoulder.
I looked at Lucifer who had his fist clenched. I gestured to him to sit down and he slowly did. I turned my attention back to Michelle who was getting ready to fight me. "What do I get if I win?"
They all looked at each other and laughed. "If you win?" one of them rhetorically asked as a joke.
Dominic's laugh died down. "If you win, you can ask anything of us you want or need," he smirked.
"Are you sure? You seem way too confident," I spoke. "Cockiness gets you nowhere."
He let out a little chuckle, "I'm sure you're not going to win."
They all backed up as Michelle took her place. I studied her movement for a few moments. She throws punches with her left even though she's right-handed. Her weak spot was in the back of her neck.
"Scared of getting your ass beaten," she smirked.
I shook my head. "Why do you guys think you could beat me? Not to mention this whole thing is making my skin crawl at how cringe this is. So much talk yet not fighting." I was honestly over it at this point.
"Simple. The ones who act tough are the easiest to beat and if you can't handle us then it's not our fault you're weak," she smirked.
I was about to say something until my phone vibrated. I pulled it out and looked at it. James was calling.
