Gabe's P.O.V

Moments after James, Ethan, and Jayson left the event to look for Skylar. I turned to the guys who were now scattered around. They peered up in groups to take a cab home since it was the fastest way. I walked outside the door and felt droplets in my hair. Great! It's going to rain. Perfect timing mother nature.

I walked to the front gates to stop a taxi but there weren't any at the moment. I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't care who it was. I just wanted to get home and check on Sky. She is the closest to me out of all my brothers. The way she cherished her necklace is the way I cherished her. She was a true family member whether blood or not. The footsteps stopped next to me. It didn't take a genius to figure out who it was.

"I hope you're going back to Hell because you sure are not going back to the house," I growled without looking at him as I placed a cigarette between my lips and lit it.

He stood quietly for a minute then spoke, "I know what I did was wrong but-"

"There's no but," I spat at him but this time I looked him in the eyes.

His look deepened then he ripped his eyes away. "I can't leave her," he said before disappearing within a blink. I let out a loud groan and finally, a taxi arrived. I dropped my cigarette and stepped on it before quickly getting in and heading to the mansion.

Once I arrived in front of the gates I gave the guy a 100 dollar bill and ran through the open gates without waiting for my change. I slammed open the door and ran upstairs. Ethan, James, Jayson, and the prick was at her door. I watched as she let them in but slammed the door in Lucifer's face.

I walked down the hall passed Skylar's room where Lucifer was just standing outside the door and made my way into my room. It was kind of relieving to know she at least made it home safely. I switched out of my tux and hopped into some home clothes. I wore a white shirt with joggers and then dried my hair with a towel.

A knock came at my door and I went to open it to see Ethan and Jayson.

"You need to be with her right now," Ethan spoke softly. I nodded and threw my towel in the basket. We walked down the hall back to Skylar's room. I noticed Lucifer wasn't there anymore and I was glad. Jay went to open the door but it was locked. I heard mumbling but we all could tell there was yelling since all the rooms were soundproof. This means if you actually were to mumble, you wouldn't hear it but if you were screaming it would sound like mumbling.

My eyes widened as I realized Sky was the one yelling. I was going to bang on the door again but it flew open. James had opened it and I saw Skylar throwing things at Lucifer.

"You bastard! Go back where you came from!" she yelled while throwing books at him. She ran to her closet and within seconds she brought out an AK.

I ran over to her and snatched it from her hand before she started firing. As much as I want to see Lucifer dead, I wouldn't let Sky do this... well at least not in the house.

"Give it back," she yelled, trying to reach for it. I disarmed it and threw it to the floor.

Knowing Skylar too well, she would run back to the closet and I was right. Before she could reach the closet, I pulled her towards me and threw her over my shoulders. She kept screaming for me to put her down but I ignored. I turned around to see some of the guys now watching this all happen with sympathy on their faces for her.

"Just give her time," I mumbled and they nodded. I walked out the door and down to my room. I shut the door behind me along with the force field. I gently put her down on my bed and she shot up and then ran to the door. I knew she wanted to beat Lucifer up but that did nothing. I grabbed her and held her tight.
