chapter 19 - chuunin exams part 2

naru p.o.v

its been 3 weeks since the latest beating. i had fully healed in that time and the 2 part to the chuunin exams had been postponed due to the incident. but know its time for it. me and my team walked to the forest of death to start it, once we got there anko explained the exam (same as anime) i walked into the tent to collect my teams scroll, i was given the heaven scroll. i exited the tent with my team and went to one of the gates into the forest of death. the exam started and we rushed in i served the area and found 2 other teams. one was menma and mito's team the other was a iwa team with the earth scroll, they were planning on tricking mito's that they had the heaven scroll cause mito's team has the earth scroll. i pointed in the direction of the iwa team since their chakra is weaker then squad 7. my team nodded and we headed out in their general direction. we snuck up behind them and ambushed them getting the scroll and heading strait for the tower. on the way we saw gaara's team heading there as well and joined up with them "i'm guessing you have both scrolls? well we do" i said and gaara nodded we arrived at the tower and went in and opened the scrolls. we spent the next 5 days do nothing about an hour after we finished shikamaru's team finished i've been getting close to ino the yamanaka heir. she is really pretty and really kind i think i might have a crush on her.

ino p.o.v   

when my team finished the exam shikamaru dumped my with that naruto guy, i personally think he is hot but i don't know if other people think the same. 'i surely hope not because his mine! (ino is a naru fangirl!!!) nobody can have him but me!' i yelled in my head as i looked at my soon to be naru. once the exam was over there had to be a preliminary round (same match ups but naruto vs menma winner naruto and snow vs mito winner snow, k?) and i was up first. i'm against sakura who sadly likes my naru. the fight ended in me winning because i kicked her in the back knocking her out 5 seconds before we had to stop. when all the battles were over we were split randomly into teams of two and given a trainer so some villages went with others, i was put in a team with naru! sasuke with snow, gaara with hinata, temary with shikamaru, menma and mito (so all my ships except menma and mito. i now theres more but i can't write them and gaara will end up with hinata!) our sensei was well some old pervert named jiraiya, i don't like him that much but he seems to already know naru "so naru and was your name inolk? i will be training you" he said "my name is ino not inolk!" i yelled at him pissed that he called me inolk that is no were near my name, that stupid old man, i'm gonna kill him if he calls me that again! we have a month to train and bond with our team mates because we will be fighting with them in the finals. i have never seen naru's face only his arms, mouth, part of his legs, neck and part of his chest. and i really want to see his face he userly has a frown on his lips but when he is with certain people he smiles i want to be one of those people who he smiles at but that will take awhile. right now were waiting for the perv to come back from asking the hokage and my dad if we can leave the village for our training i'm hoping yes because i have never been out side the village "so naruto have you been outside the village?" i ask him and he looks down at his fingers and starts counting "to many times to count" he finally answers i stare at him in shock"how and why?" i ask "i was among the 2-5 year old graduates and missions that required leaving the village" he answered "i know this next question is personal but are you dating anyone?" i asked nervous that got his attention he wiped his head to me and i could just see his nose and 3 whisker like marks on each check "no, troublesome" he said the last part quietly i giggled he looked at me again "what?" he asked "your turning into shikamaru with the whole everything is troublesome" i said "hn" was all he said "now a uchiha" i said as he wiped his head away trying to hid something from me but i could see the pink on his checks i inwardly smirked 'does he like me?' i mentally ask myself then i remember him saying that he is not in a relationship. i felt tapping on my shoulder and snapped out of my thoughts and looked at naru "were allowed to leave the village for the month so go pack" he said and walked away i jumped up and raced home to go pack. 

next morning nobody p.o.v 

both genin were waiting at the gates for jiraiya to come. but he was of buying porn magazines for the trip. we he finally shown up he was kicked hard in the balls by naruto "what was that for!?" jiraiya yelled "for being 3 hours late know i know were kakashi gets his lateness from!" naruto replied getting a node from a pissed of ino and pity looks from the gate guards izumo and kotetsu "they have been here for three hours master jiraiya" kotetsu said after jiraiya showed their papers for leaving for a month. then the three were off
