The Kiss

Darkness surrounded my vision until I heard the familiar sound of ocean waves and the soothing smell of the salty air. Coming out of the hypnotic trance of sleep I felt an unnatural weight leaning on my shoulder, looking down I recalled last nights events. Dipper was still asleep, and from what it looked like he was out cold. The sky was still dark out but a few rays of orange and yellow where gracing the horizon, the shrimp where long gone so the ocean seemed to be ghostly black.
'I must have been out for awhile I bet Wills having a heart attack right now.' I chuckled lightly thinking about my brother swimming in a frantic search to find me.
'He always was the one to worry to much.'
Looking over at Dipper again I noticed his cloths where practically dry now.
'Must be uncomfortable to have stayed in those clothes for so long. Maybe I can find something that would be more comfortable until he goes home.' A pain hit my chest, 'that's right one of these days he's going to have to leave and go back to his family.' Sighing I gazed back off to the horizon.
'I should wake him up soon, I can't handle being out of water past a few hours.'
As if he heard me Dipper stirred and was in that not asleep yet not quite awake mode.
"Is it morning?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes and got off my shoulder.
"Almost."
He hummed in response and looked at the water. His hand found its was onto my own, I felt him run his fingers on the fins that connected to my fingers.
'Maybe I can let him stay for a little longer.'
I thought as I held his hand feeling the soft skin under my own welcoming the feeling of the warmth.

'I wish I could stay here forever, it almost seemed as if this is where I'm meant to be.' Breathing in the smell of the ocean and the warmth of Bill next to me this was the perfect morning. 'I wish this morning would never end.' Letting the thoughts of all the cons that where present washed down the river of my mind, as all the pros seemed to outnumber them.
"We should get going soon." Bill said suddenly.
Looking to him I realized he must be uncomfortable being outside of the water for so long.
"Alright." I replied.
"This may seem awkward still but I do need to reinforce that spell again." Bill said rubbing the back of his neck in an embarrassed sort of way.
"O-oh right." I couldn't help the fact that a blush decided to make its way to my face.
"You humans are so easily flustered." Bill chuckled.
"I can't help it." I poured.
"So cute." I don't think he meant for me to hear it but I did and my blush darkened.
"I'm not cute." This time I got him to blush a bit.
"Oh you heard that."
"Mhmm."
A devious smirk caught me off guard and before I could even think of how to react I was met with a face full of water as Bill jumped in the water.
'Now where did he go.' I thought playfully as I looked over the edge. No sign of Bill anywhere.
"Bill did you run off to hide your embarrassment!?" I called out, still nothing.
Or so I thought, and just like that a few seconds later Bill swam up and placed his lips on mine, I kissed back wanting this feeling more then anything. Althoug Bill had to do the most unexpected thing which involved pulling me off the rock into the ocean not breaking the kiss at all. Part of his tail graced against my leg and he placed his hands on my waist pushing me closer to him. This wasn't like the normal kiss like the one he gave me earlier, this was a real kiss as if all his feelings where being poured out. After a few moments the kiss ended with both of us panting trying to regain our senses. One thought graced its way on my mind,
'That was amazing.'

I don't know what came over me, first it was just a surprise kiss and then it became well, that. Although I do have to admit Pinetrees not a bad kisser. Before we made our way back to the palace I did a quick kiss on his check.
Which caused his already blush to darken.
"Who's embarrassed now Pinetree~" I teased smiling.
"S-shut up that was cheating." He pouted again.
"On the contrary, all is far in love and war."
"Yeah yeah."
Grabbing his hand once again we made our way back laughing at how childish we both where acting.
"Oh Pinetree, when we get back I want to find you some more comfortable clothes, how does that sound."
"That sounds great!"
"Then it's a date."
"Wait what!"
