It's been a few months since my time out and sea and I've enjoyed being back home in the comfort of this small town. The sunset always looks beautiful on the beach of Gravity falls, the waves roll of the rocks and scraped beer bottles dragging them into its blue depths while the sun reflects of it like a ocean fire. The smell of old boats and alcohol can make the experience less enjoyable but soon you get use to it. I've been enjoying this view more ever since returning from my ocean voyage, I barley even remember what happened out at sea or how I got back but I suppose it doesn't really matter, I'm home and it's good to be back. Mabel was beyond herself when I came home tears had filled her eyes, although I had been gone for months and I'm not sure if I wrote to her so it's not that surprising. Even though life is going great it always seems like I'm forgetting something but I can't seem to figure out what. Standing up from where I was sitting I walked across the beach gazing out towards the blue wonder.
'life is good.' Thinking to myself I grabbed a shell, Mabel really liked them and made crafts like jewelry or sculptures when she finally gets enough of them.
----------------------------------------------
It's been only a few months and Anarchy, dismay, genocide, Everything the elders feared and it's at our door step. It seems like once I was dethroned no one knew what to do and it was just a downwards spiral from there. Raiders, slave traders, thieves, assassins, they have all seemed to crawl out of the shadows to get what they want. Will and I had been forced into hiding in fear of traitors and assassins. Even us sirens can't reverse death if one of us where to die. There Is no hope for any of the elders to make a solution, those cowardly hypocrites got out of here the moment things started to go wrong. I tried to do something but that just ended in more chaos. There had to be a way to protect my brother, my kingdom is already to far gone to be saved and it appears they all where just waiting for a chance to revolt against us.
"B-brother what do we do?" Will asked as he clung onto my arm watching our once beautiful flourishing kingdom turn to ruins before our very eyes.
"I don't know." Replying harshly I hated this feeling of helplessness. I knew what we could do but that would be a cowards way out and I did not want to be remembered like one of those old fools.
"Maybe w-we should l-leave? We can't do anything h-here." Will said fear obvious in his voice.
No matter what Will is my first priority, he is the last person who hasn't betrayed me. "Okay I have an idea. Where's the nearest land mass" I said hoping that this would work and not fail like it has in the past.
"Well there's a little town a bit of a swim but it's the closest I can think of but it's-"
"That's fine now follow me, we've been spotted." I replied quickly.
If only I had let Will finish what he was trying to say.
