Nita
"Oh wow!"
Turning behind me, Sara and Mike walked in.
"Nita this looks Amazing!" She exclaimed.
Seeing how happy she was made my job complete.
"Thank babe." We hugged. "Wassup, I wasn't expecting you here so soon."
"I know" she nodded.
"Hey Mike!"
"Hey wassup. This looks nice!"
"Thanks." I smiled genuinely.
Honestly speaking, I had my concerns about him because of what he does but I promised Kevin I would stay out of it.
As much as I didn't want too, he did make my friend happy and you could see it clearly.
"So what bring y'all by?"
"Oh we were out looking for my outfit and I begged Michael to bring me here to see even though he didn't want too!" She play hit him.
"Oh!" I laughed and looked at him.
"Nita thank you so much for this."
"Dont thank me just yet!" I smiled. "I still got some tricks up my sleeve."
"Oh I'm really excited now."
"Yea well thank Mike because he added some things that would make it complete."
"Really?" She looked at him.
"I may have!" He smirked while playing with his beard.
"Can I go look around at least?" Sara asked.
"Yea, sure!" I laughed at her reaction.
Leaving Mike and I there, it became awkward. Scrolling through my iPad to see what else needs to be done, I heard him clear his throat.
"Hey um." He began.
Looking up, I gave him all of my attention.
"I know you know about what I really do and I do plan on telling her."
"Ok" I nodded.
"I ain't meant ta keep it from her, I just panicked a bit back then when we were getting to know each other."
"Panicked? Why?"
"Because I'm really feeling her as hard as it may seem."
"Oh I believe you on that. After seeing how much you were willing to put out just for her birthday." I snickered.
"Yea!" He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Look all I want is for my friend to be safe. Me and Kevin's life was already turned upside down after some mess with his sister and we don't need that again in our lives."
