Four Years....

“Mmm! Kevin?” I stirred in my sleep.
“What?” He mumbled.
“Babe I'm too tired.” I groaned.
“I'm not doing anything.” He responded but I still felt it.
“Kevin stop it!” I shoved him.
“Man what the fu-”
Hearing him suck his teeth, I opened my eyes on to see our son on me.
“Bash what are you doing out of bed?”
“So you're not going to apologize for shoving me?” Kevin questioned. “You damn near pushed me off the bed.”
“No.” I laughed. “Now Sebastian I asked you a question.”
“Yea little man, what you doing in here?”
Kevin tried to pull him but he fought out his arms and came back climbing all over me.
“Big mommas boy.” Kevin teased.
“I wonder where he gets it from?” I rolled my eyes.
“Breakfast please.” Bash finally said.
“And that.” I cut my eyes at Kevin.
“Hey, he's growing.” He shrugged and sat up.
Exhaling heavily, I watched as Bash left our room and went god alone knows where.
Over the last four years, Kevin and I have been able to manage raising two children all while working and being away from family.
I'll admit, it's been an experience but we were managing as best as we could. During the day, Kevin would be home with Bash and Abigail till I got home.
“I'm so tired.” I finally stood up.
“I told you not to work last night but you didn't want to hear me out.” He shrugged. “Good morning babe.” He finally kissed me.
