C h a p t e r 8

Two months later

Nothing much has happened over the time, well except for the fact that Daniel seemed to now sit with us a lot more at lunch but that's really it. Everything seemed pretty normal, Nixon and I would go to Berries after school, sometimes April and Emily would come but they didn't come as often anymore.

Right now though we meaning April, Emily, Daniel and I was sitting at the lunch table munching away on our food.

*Cough cough* "Demily in the house" *cough cough*

I looked April giving her a 'really' look, she just smiled innocently, On the other hand Emily's cheeks turned pink and Daniel just looked confused as hell.
Most of the time April would say Demily at random points to make Emily blush and Daniel confused, I'm surprised he hasn't worked it out yet.

"Demily isn't in the house April" Daniel said raising an eyebrow

If only he knew

I couldn't help but let out a laugh at Aprils expression. It was simply hilarious, it was like she wanted to murder him for saying those words.
Daniel looked frightened, I guess he should be though.

"Demily is in the house Daniel" April grits

"Who the hell is Demily"

"They" April grumbled

"So Demily is a ship name" Daniel said

"YES MAN" April yelled and slammed a fist against the table

"Calm down April"

"No I cannot calm down"

"April chill" I say

She gives me this evil glare, alright honey I don't want to die yet thanks.
I still have a whole life to live and many things to do.

"So who you shipping" Daniel asked

"Well if I have you know she's shipping Emily an-" April slapped a hand across my mouth before I could finish my sentence

"You have to figure it out yourself slow poke" April said

"I'm not slow"

"You actually are" I comment

He frowned at me, I stuck my tongue at him and ate my food.

"So Emily erm since your my partner for the English project I was wondering if you could come to my house later so we could get some of it done" Daniel said

"Sure" Emily grumbled not looking at him

April grinned like a Cheshire Cat, it kind of creeped me out when she did that since she looked like a pedo. I just sighed and ran a hand through my hair, I'm seriously craving for a milkshake.

~ Time Skip ~

I was walking to the exit of the school building April by my side, today she decided to come with me to Berries. I heard a ping from my phone, taking it out I realised I just got a text.

Milkshake Thief: can't come today I'll see you tomorrow though hope you don't miss me, I know you will 😏

I roll my eyes at the last part and sent a quick reply saying I won't miss you lol and then put my phone back into my pocket.

"Looks like it's just you and me today April" I say

"So Nixon ain't coming then"

"No"

"Did he say why"

"No"

"Oh"

We walk out of the school building, it was a bit weird not seeing Nixon leaning against the gate surrounded by girls.

All of a sudden Amanda struts her way over hands on her hips with a questioning look on her face.

"Amber" April greets obviously saying her name wrong on purpose

"It's Amanda" Amanda snaps

"Well whatever your name is it's obviously irrelevant so what do you need" I say

"I just wanted to know if you knew where your boy toy is" she says smugly

"He's not my boy toy" I snap obviously knowing who she's referring to

"Why would you want to know where Nixon is" April asks raising an eyebrow

"Because" she paused looking at her nails then looks at me her brown eyes brightening "I wanted to ask if he would like to go out on a date with me" she says sweetly

"Erm ok" I say awkwardly

"That's flipping hilarious, are you sure he'll say yes to you if you actually ask" April says

"Who wouldn't want all this" Amanda says gesturing at herself

"I wouldn't" I snort

April just laughs while Amanda rolls her eyes at my comment.

"I don't care what you want I just came to say that Nixon will soon be mine so I suggest you stay away from him"

"Why do I need to stay away from him he's my friend" I counter I felt my eye twitch

"You obviously have a thing for him and I don't want that to get in the way of our relationship"

"Your non existing relationship" April says smugly

"It does exist" Amanda spat angrily

"Alright drama queen I have places to be so I need to leave" I say

Amanda glared at me

"Just watch Nixon will be mine"

"No he won't" April grumbled

"Ok have fun with that"

"Stop trying to sound tuff you obviously have some feelings for him" Amanda stresses

"No I don't" I say feeling irritated

"Whatever believe what you want then I'll see you around" Amanda says and walks away

Once she's gone, I run a hand through my hair, why is she so annoying. I just wanted to actually punch her in the face.

April and I walked to Berries in silence, I was kind of glad that April hadn't said anything to me, I just needed to think about a few things.

Urgh life can suck like hell
