C h a p t e r 12

April and I was sitting with each other at the lunch table, Daniel wasn't sitting with us today and was sitting with his friends. Emily hadn't come to school today and I really am praying she's safe I mean her aunt is bloody crazy.

"Lana I'm really worried about Emily she hasn't answered any of my texts" April says

"Same here"

"I wonder if her aunt has shaved her hair yet"

"I wouldn't be surprised"

"Let's just hope that she hasn't"

There was a sudden bash of a tray and looking up l see a tired and pale looking Emily, her brown hair frazzled and a complete mess, had bruises on her hand and arms and dark circles under her eyes, in other words she looked horrible

"You look bloody horrible what did your aunt do to you" April says

"Hi to you too" Emily grumbled

"Emily how comes you came so late"

"I wasn't even gonna come school today but my mum made me go even though my aunt wanted to drag me through her military course"

"Your aunt is crazy" April says

"After I stopped texting you guys things just went bonkers let's just say"

"Are you gonna tell us what happened" I ask interested to know

"I guess so" she says shrugging

~Two days ago~

Emily's POV

"EMILY COME ON DOWN" my mum yelled the annoyance could be heard in her voice

I hid under my bed after I went off the group chat. I didn't want to come down. I wanted to stay here and I really wished April or Lana would come over here and be my knight in shining armour of something.

There was footsteps coming upstairs and I knew that she was coming. If only I could jump out the window, however I know that if I did that I had 100% chance of dying because I suck that much.

"Come on Emily your not five anymore stop playing hide or seek" My Aunts voice rang through the room

My body froze and I felt like I was in one of those horror films or something. Her footsteps thundered around the room. The sound of things moving made my stomach churn, I hated the fact that she scared me so much.

"Emily your not as good at hiding as you think you are" she says and I felt hands grab my foot

I literally screamed and tried to struggle free, damn I really feel like in a horror film. She managed to pull me out from under the bed. Her body hovers over me.

"Well hello Emily" she says smirking

She gave me the chills, she always did

"H-hello m-m'am"

She yanked me up to my feet, I stood up straight. Knowing that if I didn't she would make me do so anyways.

"So you ready for training" she says with that smirk still in place

"T-train" I squeak

"Yes train Emily like we always do"

I wanted to jump out that window now

"I brought a friend as well, he will help out" she says

"He" I say feeling scared

I hated meeting new people, I'm usually scared to talk to girls besides Lana and April of course but how in the name of jewels was I suppose to talk to a boy, I get scared when I talk to Daniel or Nixon for crying out loud how am I suppose to communicate with grown man none the less who was probably from the army as well.
