Chapter 2: Graduation Day

"Vay P.O.V": I just walked across the stage to recieve my diploma and i saw my mama, my daddy, Jennifer, and two guys with her. When they put that diploma in my hand i heard Jennifer yell "That's my sister!" I couldn't help but laugh. But after the graduation was over Jennifer was introducing the guys to my parents i hope they agree with letting me room with Jennifer and the guys. I walked up to them and of course my parents hugged me.

Daddy: Vay, Jenny has introduced me to her boyfriend and the other room-mate. I like them but you can only go under one condition.
Vay: And what is that Daddy?
Mama: You give that handsome boy over there a try.
Vay: Mama i don't even know him.
Speedy: Alex can you go talk to Ant or whatever while i talk with my family.
Alex: Yeah baby.

Alex walked away meanwhile Speedy is trying to talk me into giving Ant a chance.

"Ant P.O.V": Now i ain't gone flex yeah Speedy friend cute and thick ass hell but ion wanna hurt lil mama. She look like a good girl. Ion wanna fuck up her future or none. To be honest i would like to get with her but ion wanna be judged bout' what i do to supply food and stuff on my kid and family back/table.

Alex: You thinkin' bout' ha' ain't you?
Ant: Huh?
Alex: Nigga i been over here for a good three minutes and you ain't said shit to me.
Ant: Uh huh.(looks at Vay and winks)

"Vay P.O.V": Ant winked at me and i instantly began blushing. I guess i forgot that Speedy and my parents was standing there because i began twisting my hair with my finger.

Daddy: Baby girl go talk to him.
Vay: Daddy i don't know him.
Speedy: But you wanna know him. He got you blushin'. Atleast give him a try Vay. He's good people.
Vay: Fine. Should i go talk to him now?
Mama: Yes baby go.

I walked over to Ant and Alex.

Vay: Ummm Hi.
Alex: I'ma take this as a que to leave.

Alex walked away leaving me and Ant alone.

Ant: Vay right.
Vay: Yeah. Ant right.
Ant: Yeah soo you ready for college?
Vay: Yeah. Just a little scared. I'll be a incoming freshman.
Ant: It's alright Vay i got yo' back i'll be a sophomore.
Vay: Oh. So you do any sports?
Ant: Maybe. How about you?
Vay: Maybe (giggles).
Ant: What sport?
Vay: You first.
Ant: Basketball.
Vay: Softball.
Ant: So you fast?
Vay: Not really but why everybody call you Ant?
Ant: My name is Antonio but it's Ant for short. I figure since yo' nickname is Vay that your real name must be beautiful.
Vay: (blushes) would you like to know my name?
Ant: yes i would (laughs).
Vay: My name is Nevaeh.
Ant: That's a beautiful name.
Vay: Thank you. Yours isn't to bad either. Sooo do you have any kids?
Ant: I'ma be straight with you cause i'm crushin' on you bad Vay. I have a three year old son.
Vay: I love kids. What's his name?
Ant: Antonio.
Vay: Let me guess he's a Jr.
Ant: Yeah.
Vay: That's so adorable Antonio. Umm how long are you guys staying before going back to Ohio.
Ant: Well Jennifer told me you leave for Ohio in a week so i guess we're leaving the day you leave.
Vay: Do you have a place to crash at?
Ant: The hotel room.
Vay: Nooo. Let me see if my mama and daddy will let yah'll crash with us.

I walked away and left Ant for my parents them. When i got to my mama she said.....

Mama: They're staying with us sweetheart. Uhm Jennifer and Alexander will have the guest bedroom while you share your room with Ant.
Vay: Mama yah'll set me up.
Mama: Yeah. Baby go back over to him i saw that yah'll was laughing and you was blushing go get that man baby.
Vay: Mama i love you and all but he has a kid.
Mama: So do you.
Vay: Mamaaaa.
Mama: Nevaeh tell him about your son.
Vay: I will mama.

I walked back over to Ant and heard him on the phone. "Yeah" "Nah bruh i can't" "I'm at my baby graduation" "Nah she ain't my girl yet but i want her to be" "you think she gone judge me bout' my job" "You sure" "I wonder if lil mama got kids"...i began blushing. I tapped him on the shoulder and he said "i got to go into the phone" and hung up.

Ant: Why you blushin' baby?
Vay: I heard your conversation.
Ant: (laughs) Oh fo' real.
Vay: Yeah. Umm remember when i said i love kids.
Ant: Yeah. Vay let me guess you got a baby.
Vay: Yeah. I have a son.
Ant: How old?
Vay: Same age as your son.
Ant: What's his name?
Vay: You not mad or nothing.
Ant: Nah. Kids makes you want to change your ways.
Vay: (giggles) yeah. My baby name is Tokiyo but my mama them call him Tok.
Ant: Tokiyo. Is it spelled like.....
Vay: (laughs) Noo i uhm actually spelled it like T-O-K-I-Y-O.
Ant: I like that. Not tryna' be rude but where's his.....
Vay: He's a drug dealer i can't. I just couldn't afford for my baby to grow up around that type of stuff.
