Chapter 13: Basketball Game

"Vay P.O.V": So me, Alex, Speedy, and the boys all got ready for Ant's basketball game. You know we gotta support my baby. Plus every girl on campus know who i am and how i get down (fighting wise) thanks to Alex. Before the game started coach let Ant come over to us.

Ant: Vay, i need a kiss fo' good luck ma.

I leaned over the little railing and gave him a kiss. He then kissed his sons head. We all wished him luck. The game started and We had the ball first. Montgomery passed the ball to White, White faked a left but passed the ball to the right to Grayson, Grayson then passed ball to Ant which gave him a chance to shoot a 3-pointer. Ant jumped and the ball released from his fingers going straight into the hoop. We all screamed "first point of the game!" Later on into the game Antonio went into the air for a dunk but due to the other team number 23 my baby landed on the ground wrong. He was on the ground screaming. I couldn't just stand and look the coach called out my name and I was by my baby side. He was panicking and you know what none of us saw it coming. I held his hand from when we was at the basketball game all the way to the hospital. I was just by his side the whole time. When they took him into the emergency room I was not allowed to go back there with him. I remained in the waiting room.

"Alex P.O.V": Me and Speedy got the kids. Man I can't believe my dog Ant in the hospital due to a accident from the basketball game.

Alex: You sure you want me to just take you and the kids home?
Speedy: Yes. Plus i'm not feeling good.
Alex: I'll stay with...
Speedy: Nigga.
Alex: i'm white bae.
Speedy: Shut up. Take me home so i can watch the kids. You needa go see yo' bro.

There was no more talking. Silence all the way to the house. Speedy got out the car with the boys and i was gone get out but she gave me a look. I then pull off down the street rushing to the hospital. I got to the hospital and all hell broke loose.

Vay: What the hell you mean i can't go see him! Yah'll trippin'!

I grabbed Vay so her crazy ass can calm down. We really don't need to be kicked out of the hospital. I'm guess he got rushed to ER ASAP. He's gonna need surgery fo' sure.
