Chapter 28: Publix

"Vay P.O.V": Today can't get any worse. Of course i say this because i just ran into the amazing Ant (asshole). Okay, let me stop me and Ant on good ass terms. Why? He gets the boys when he's suppose to, he leaves me money even though i tell him not to, and he has matured completely. Yeah, we like bestfriends now. Fuck that, im his bestfriend and his baby mama. Thats one hell of a title *laughing*, never mind. Anywho im at publix with Quis since he moved in with me. We been talking for a good minute and i think he's the one but i aint gone say none yet.

Quis: Baby, the boys still got milk?
Vay: *looks in phone for grocery list* Nope. But i know Tok is going to want white milk and Jr gonna want chocolate milk.
Quis: *grabs a whole gallon for both milks* Anything else from this section
Vay: *laughs* Yeah whipcream. I'ma go talk to my kids father right quick boo.
Quis: *grabs Vay from behind* Vay baby you know i'm here if you need me.
Vay: *pecks Quis on the lips* I can handle myself bae.

I headed over to Ant.

Vay: Wheres the boys?
Ant: At my moms.
Vay: Awww they with they granny. How you doing?
Ant: Girl you know yo boy gucci. Im just making this money to support you, my kids, and my fiancée.
Vay: Fiancée?
Ant: Yeah, i uhm propsed to Erica.
Vay: Congratulation.
Ant: Yeah. But how you been? Dont lie neither.
Vay: Stressing a little. School uhm start back up soon and i got the boys to register in school soon, oh yeah have you met my boyfriend.
Ant: damn, and boyfriend?
Vay: yes boyfriend.
Ant: Nah i ain't meet him. He here?
Vay: Yeah, lets go.

I headed back to my boo Quis with Ant trailing behind me.

Vay: Ant meet my boyfriend Quis, Quis this is my baby daddy Ant.
Ant: Wassup. *holds hand out*
Quis: Wassup. *shakes Ant hand*
Ant: Vay you did yourself good. Aye yo Quis i get down and dirty bout my baby mama and my bestfriend so dont try no grimy shit.
Quis: *chuckles* cant be grimy even if i tried. she's a one of a kind type of woman.
Vay: *smiles*
Ant: Well Vay ill see you when i drop the boys off.
Vay: Aight.

Ant walked off and honestly this is the calmest he's ever been. Is it a good or a bad thing? Anywho we continued on with our shopping. Quis paid and we headed out to his car. He put the bags and everything in the trunk while i got in the car and turned it on. My song "If I Were A Boy by Beyonce", began playing and you know i went ahead and hit them notes. Honestly, there's something about Quis that i just cant put my finger on. I mean he's cute, goofy, romantic, smart, dreamy, and alot of other stuff. The boys love him and he loves the boys but my main concern is "can i really trust him?". I mean im only questioning myself because i dont want to give my all into a relationship, just to end it all in an argument over cheating. (Hint hint: Ant) Damn i really like Quis though. I mean he hasnt yelled at me, hasnt put hands on me, and he damn sure dont throw shit to break. He's just an amazing person. And to be honest, if he ever pop the marriage question i will cry. He got into the car and reversed the car then switched to drive and we headed home. He held my hand while he drove with his left hand. I smiled and i guess he could tell i was thinking.

Quis: babygirl you okay?
Vay: yeah. Im just thinking.
Quis: about?
Vay: a lot.
Quis: wanna talk about it?
Vay: not really.
Quis: well you know im here.
Vay: thanks babe.

I looked out the window as he drove. The song died out and "Can't be friends by Trey Songz", began playing and i wanted to sing it, but i wasnt really in the mood to sing. I grew up loving this damn song with all of my heart. When we pulled up to the house, Quis aint let me grab nothing. I hooked my phone up to the tv and played pandora. I went straight to the kitchen after and began putting things up as Quis bring them in. I began putting away the groceries while singing "Now Behold The Lamb by Tamela Mann". Can i be honest? I really like Quis. Should i tell him or no? I think i'm going to tell him. Well when he finishes bringing in the groceries. About three minutes later he can back into the house with the last five bags and the case of water.

Vay: Quis baby, can we talk?
Quis: are you dumping me?
Vay: no silly.
Quis: *sits Vay on the counter as i stand between her legs* wassup.
Vay: Im in love with you.

Quis kissed me so passionately that i forgot where i was. We slowly pulled away, and i was voiceless.

Quis: I'm in love with you to ma. I just aint know when the right time was going to be for me to tell you.

I just smiled and pulled him back to me so i could give him another kiss.
