Rachel's POV
I woke up in a hospital bed, my eyes hazy from sleep. I looked at my scar covered arm to see if I was hooked up to anything. I wasn't.
I saw Finn sitting out in the waiting room. He looked up at the window and his eyes widened. I sat up and he hugged me when he got to my bed.
"Hey," we said at the same time. I laughed.
"So, can we go home?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. You pretty much just slept through most of the recovery and all your stats seem to be back to normal. At least, that's what the doctor said."
"Ok," I said.
"Oh and there's one thing I've been meaning to do," he said. He leaned in and kissed me. My hands went up to his face and he rubbed my back. The kiss lasted a minute or two.
"I've wanted to do that for weeks," he said with a smile. I smiled back. "I'm gonna get dressed and then we can leave. Ok?"
He nodded. I got into the clothes that Finn brought for me. Once I was dressed, we walked out. Finn told me that the doctor said I should stay with him for a while. I was fine with that anyways. I was living by myself anyways. It got kind of lonely but it represented how I felt in the world. Alone.
When we got to his house, I took a deep breath. Finally, I had him back in my life. And I was gonna do everything in my power to keep it that way. Finn opened the door and a kissed his cheek. When he leaned in for a kissed, I ran in the house, laughing. He ran in after me and picked me up. He spun me around and when he put me back down, I let him kiss me. The kiss got deeper and deeper.
"What do you say we move this to the bedroom," I said, trying to sound seductive. He smiled and took my hand. As we ran to his room, I sighed in relief. Everything was like it had been before. Perfect.
