Oceans spread out before me, the horizon looks beyond me, its back turned to my pain.
sunsets are no longer perfect, there's no more magic in the storm.
turbulence, vertigo, a vermillion taste in my mouth.
you left me here waiting, growing older yet not wiser.
you left me here forgotten, and I wait, and I wait as roots take hold and I have no more strength to leave.
