Right Place, Right Time

Chapter Eight

A week passed by and Shannon and Channing and Savannah were getting ready to meet the family at Hyde Park for a picnic. Shannon wore a white short sleeved buttoned up top, red skinny jeans and white vans. Savannah put on her batman logo dress that she and her mum adored and her grey slip on shoes. Channing wore a short sleeved denim shirt, light brown chinos and light blue converse. Channing picked them both up in the morning and drove to the location. He held her hand in one and Savannah's hand in the other as they walked towards where both of their families were gathered. They all greeted their own families before introductions were made. 

Channing led Shannon over to his family first. A smiley woman with short blonde hair greeted her first with a hug. "Lovely to meet you dear, I'm Kay, Channing's mum." She greeted. A man with grey short hair and a beard then shook her hand and said "Nice to meet you Shannon, I'm Glenn, his dad." Finally a pretty woman with long dark brown wavy hair introduced herself "Hey, I'm Paige, Channing's sister." Shannon smiled before leading Channing over to her family where she could see Savannah hanging onto James, her brother. Her dad greeted him first "Lovely to meet you, I'm Doug, Shannon's dad." Her dad had short grey hair. Her mum then greeted him with a welcoming hug and said "Great to meet the man who's stolen my little girl's heart, I'm Betsy, Shannon's mum." She had long curly dark brown hair. Then her actors brother James, which Channing had been most excited to meet, introduced himself "Alright mate? I'm James, Shannon's older brother." Her second brother shook his hand politely and beamed "Hello, I'm Dave, Shannon's brother too." Dave also did acting and he appeared in The Death And Life Of Charlie St Cloud and Warm Bodies. Finally Shannon's last brother high-fived him "Cool to meet you, I'm Tom, Shannon's brother also." He spoke happily. Shannon's brothers were all good looking. James had brown curly hair, Dave had short brown hair and Tom had long frizzy brown hair.

The families all talked about what they'd been up to and themselves and TV programs, films, music, everything. The atmosphere was joyful, Smiles painted everyone's faces. It was a perfect moment.

Chloe, Jaydon and Chris were all getting prepared to meet their families at a huge BBQ organised in Chloe's parents' back yard. Chloe wore an giraffe print t-shirt, blue jeans and her giraffe printed converse and lots of jewellery. Chris wore a checkered blue shirt, black jeans and trainers. Jaydon wore his white Harry Potter Deathly Hallows sign t-shirt, beige chinos and white high tops. In the morning Chris collected them to drive to her parents house. Chris entwined his fingers with hers as they walked into the back garden with Jaydon running head to his uncle Olly. The two families were already chatting but all stood up to greet them when they saw them coming.

Chris led Chloe to meet his family first. A enthusiastic woman with short light brown hair greeted Chloe first with a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. "So great to meet you Chloe! I'm Lisa, Chris' mum." A tall man with side parted dark brown hair was the next to greet her by hugging her and saying "Lovely to meet you darling. I'm Bob, Chris' dad." A pretty woman with long brown hair shook her hand next "Hey! I'm Carly, Chris' oldest sister." She said politely. The girl next to her with short brown hair then added "And I'm Shanna, Chris' younger sister." Finally a guy with short spiky light brown hair high-fived her before telling her "And I'm Scott, his amazingly awesome brother." Chloe smiled before leading Chris over to her own family. Her mum greeted him first with a hug "Lovely to meet the lucky man who has my Chloe, I'm Vicki, her mum." She grinned with her Essex accent coming through really strongly. She had long blonde hair. Her dad went next, he shook his hand and greeted with "Nice to meet you Chris, I'm Peter, her dad." He had short blonde hair. Chris felt very pleased to meet her brother who came next. "Hi mate, thanks for making my sis smile, I'm Olly, her brother." He grinned widely while hugging him. Olly had blonde spiky hair and a caring but cheeky smile. Olly's non-identical twin greeted her next with a high-five. "Hey, I'm Ben, Chloe's other brother." He spoke kindly. He had short spiky brown hair. Finally her sister said hello to him "Hiya, I'm Fay, her sister." She introduced. Fay had short blonde hair.

They spent the day getting to know each other by talking about various subjects. They all got on so well. The BBQ was great and so was everything else. Everyone was just extremely happy to be there.
