A week later after getting settled the kids all joined their new schools. However when bullying occurs Jaydon and Joseph both protect their sisters with all their might. Jaydon, Savannah and Skylar's school was a modern conjoined primary and infant school. While Jaydon and Savannah were in year three, Skylar was in year one in the infant school area. Joseph's school was an old fashioned secondary school and he was in year eight.
Skylar walked into her class nervously. She looked very cute on her first day. Her curly blonde hair was fixed into two neat piggy tails which were tied with a blue ribbon. She wore her new baby blue blouse, navy cardigan and black skirt, black tights and black dolly shoes as her uniform. Everyone turned to stare at her as soon as they realised she was new. "Hello Skylar, sit down by Hayden please poppet." The teacher welcomed warmly. Skylar obeyed and took her seat next to Hayden. Her and Hayden got on immediately. Hayden had ginger straight hair which was cut into a bob. They hung round at break time too. Everything was great until lunch time. Skylar and her new friend were showing each other their favourite Barbie dolls which they had with them when a group of much taller and older girls came towards them. Hayden looked petrified and ran away quickly leaving Skylar to feel confused.
"Hey look it's the new girl, Sky-lar. What a stupid name." Snorted the black haired girl at the front. The other girls giggled. "What's that in your hand?" Asked the girl with red hair who had a sly look on her face. "It's my B-barbie doll, m-miss." Skylar replied holding it tighter in her grip as she refused to look in the girls eyes. "Let me look at it." The red head added. Skylar looked at her doll and shook her head. "It's my favourite, I don't let anyone take her." The girls looked extremely annoyed "Hand it over, now!" A blonde haired girl shouted. Skylar shook her head again. The black haired one snatched the doll from Skylar's grip harshly. "Give it back!" Skylar moaned trying to reach to get it back. "No. It's mine now, silly little girl." Skylar started to cry. She wanted it back so badly. "It's mine! Give it back, please! The girls laughed. Skylar went to grab it back again but the girls shoved her over hard causing her tights to rip and grazes and cuts to appear on her hands and knees. Skylar sprinted off to find her brother.
Jaydon was playing superheroes with his mates when his little sister ran up to him crying, with blood dripping from her hands and knees. "Sky? What's happened?" Jaydon wondered placing his hands on her shoulders. "T-these girls sn-snatched my doll from me and called my n-name stupid a-and they pushed me o-over." Skylar cried while choking from her many tears with pain and fear "Take me to them, I'll sort this." Jaydon reassured. Skylar grabbed his hand and dragged him to where they were. The girls laughed again when they saw her. "I don't know what you're finding so funny. How dare you steal my sister's doll. How would you like it if someone snatched your things? Exactly. Her name's not stupid either, it's unique and beautiful just like her. Never ever hurt her too, look, she's bleeding! If I see her like this again then I'll sort you all out big time. Leave my sister alone and give her the doll back to her now!" Jaydon yelled. The girls apologised sarcastically and threw the doll at her and stormed off. "Thank you Jay, even though you've only been my brother for a week, I love you loads, you may not have superpowers in real life but Jay, you're my hero." Skylar smiled wiping her tears away. "You're welcome, whenever you need help, I'm always here. That's my job, I'm now your protective big brother." He said back softly before hugging her and taking her to first aid.
Savannah was having a great day at school. She met a new friend named Emily and she had learned some new and interesting things. Emily, her friend, had coal black frizzy hair and lots of freckles. Savannah spent her break and lunch time talking to Emily about princesses and flowers. Savannah own hair that day was in plaits and she wore a flowered hair band. She was very happy all day until the end of the day.
Savannah waited for her brother Joseph to pick her up after school underneath the willow tree while reading 'Pride And Prejudice' by Jane Austen alone and in silence when a group of nasty year six's came up to her. "It's the geeky new girl look with her fancy pants books, pathetic." The first blue hair girl snorted. "Leave me alone please, I'm trying to read, I don't want to be disturbed." Savannah sighed trying to concentrate on her book. "Don't sigh at me cheeky cow! I'll rip that book up!" The girl snapped. Savannah shook her head. "Who are you waiting for geek?" The red head asked. Savannah ignored her, this made them angry. "Don't you dare ignore her!" The pink head shouted. Savannah carried on ignoring them. The first girl snatched the book out of her hands and dumped it into the muddy puddle and stomped on it harshly. "My book!" Savannah cried tears rolling down her cheeks. The girls giggled uncontrollably and mocked her. Savannah went to stand up but they pushed her over and watched her fall into the puddle herself, this made them laugh even harder. They didn't know that her brother saw the whole thing.
Joseph walked into the school gates to collect her sister when he saw her being tormented by a bunch of girls. She was in tears. He noticed her book was in a muddy puddle and then he watched her being shoved into the puddle with it. Anger built up inside him. He stormed over to them and shouted at them. "What the hell do you think you're doing? That's my sister there. How dare you destroy her book and then push her into the puddle with it. There's nothing funny about it at all. You're just a bunch of pathetic, cowardly bullies. If I see you do this again I'll sort you out with my fists, do you understand? Leave her alone, she had done nothing wrong. Horrible low lives the lot of you!" Joseph yelled furiously. The girls apologised and ran off, they were still chuckling however. Joseph pulled her out of the puddle and led her into the school to get cleaned up and changed. "Thank you so much Joe. You're the best brother in the world and I've only known you a week." Savannah smiled kindly. Joseph hugged her and kissed her forehead. "I'm always here for you, I love you little sis. I'm going to protect my Princess with all my might okay, I will be your brother version of a Knight in shining armour. Now come on, let's get a new copy of Pride And Prejudice yeah?" Joseph beamed. Savannah nodded and followed him.
