"fuck. We need to go. Stay with me baby, you'll get through this. We'll have the future we always wanted; get married, have a shit load of kids, take care of the pack, grow old, and die together. I'll promise you that"

"I promise, Alex"

He fucking touched her. I'm going to kill him if my dad didn't; which he probably did in seconds.

"No!" I shout slamming my fist into the ground in anger watching her gasp for air : like a fish out of water

"You can't do this to me, baby girl. Please stay awake" I plead to my mate shaking her shoulders as she nods looking into my eyes

Her mocha brown eyes still had that beautiful sparkle in them.

"Yo dumbass I suggest you take her to the hospital, before she--you know, dies. I got the car ready" Steven hinted crossing his arms rolling his brown eyes at me

I growl but Alex puts her small hand on my arm stopping me,

"He helped us Cole" she croaked out to me

I nod slowly, "don't talk right now"

I quickly follow Steven quickly to his car. I run past my dad who is slowly choking Gerald.

I guess I can't kill him now.

I quickly get in the back seat holding a naked Alexis in my lap. Steven jumps in and starts the car speeding down the Street.

"You guys want to go this really good sushi place downtown?" He ask looking me in the eyes through the rear view mirror

"Just.Drive." I growl at Steven

Alexis starts to sway and slowly starts to close her eyes.

"No no Alex look at me" I cry out but she closes her eyes

"Hurry up Steven!" I commanded him in my alpha tone

Steven quickly speeds faster down the street, if that was possible. We get there and I jump out of the car with Alexis in my arms.

"Get me a doctor now!"

They bring a gurney and I quickly but carefully place her on it. They start pushing it down the hallway; they checked her vitals,
"what happened Alpha?"

"She swallowed a lot of silver " I gulp out running along the gurney watching my mate

They reach a room where they quickly place her into many machines. They do many test on her; then she starts seizing.

"Alexis! Alex! That's my mate what are you Doing!" I shout as they pushed me back out of the room into the empty hallway

"They doctors are trying to help her right now and they can't concentrate with you yelling at them" an old lady wearing nurse scrubs  hisses at me

I growl out at them and punch the wall leaving a hole. I slide down the wall with my head in my hands.

I hear a scream come out of Alexis' room, I quickly jump up and run in. I see her hunched over throwing up into a bucket a nurse was holding.

"I got it" I told the nurse taking the bucket from his hands

"Sorry you have to see me like this" she whispers chuckling a little, "especially in this ugly dress"

"Shh don't talk, you just drank silver. You still look beautiful to me " I reassure her seeing that she now has a hospital gown on

Dr. Williams walks in,
"The two of you are perfectly fine"

"Two of us?" Alex coughed out confused

"The baby. Thank god you didn't take in that much silver. Even though it was a tremendous amount" the doctor laughs out

Baby.. Oh my god

"How far along am I?"

"2 months"

"Thanks Doctor" I smile he nods leaving

"Baby isn't that great!" I hug her
frail body tightly

I don't feel her hug back,
I pull aways and look at her,

"do you not want the baby?" I ask in shock

Did she not want kids?

My heart stops and it feels like I can't breathe.

"What if it's not yours?"

"He really touched you didn't he?!"

"Yes! I didn't want him to do that to Crystal!"

My breathing starts to quicken. My heart beating faster. My veins pumping blood faster.

I jump off the bed before standing up and pacing. I clench my jaw, squeezing my hands so tight my knuckles started to turn white.

"C-Cole"

"Cole"

"COLE"

I turn to look at Alex, I Instantly calm down and I sit down next to her as she sobs into my chest as I rub her back slowly.

"Shhhh I'm here now. No one is going to touch or go near you"

"Wait... If I was gone for 3 weeks and I'm 2 months along.
That means the baby has to be yours"

I breath out a sigh of relief, "oh thank god"
I mutter kissing her

It felt so good to kiss her again

out looking into her eyes

"Yeah of course. I'll love
you even if you were green"
