Ch.9 Groceries

Lian's POV

"Karen you're so beautiful. Your eyes sparkles everytime I look at y-" I immediately turn off the TV. So cheesy. Its weekend and I don't know what to do now. I'm so bored. I stood up and went to my refrigerator. Let's see.

"Waaahhh!!! I forgot to buy groceries!" Scratching my head, i sigh. Great, I was planning on being productive right now, academically productive. I haven't even finished a single plate, and it's deadline is this Friday. Not to mention my other projects in minor but feeling major.

"Well.. I guess I'll be going to the mall then". I took a bath for awhile, then changed. Wearing a white t-shirt with a Punk Up print in it and shorts then I'm good to go. Oh wait shoes! I'm contemplating whether to use sandals or rubber shoes? Staring at a pair of white shoes...

It's rubber shoes then. I walk past the mirror and saw how I looked like, turning back then stare at myself in the mirror, I observed my outfit. Wearing a black cap, I look so boyish. It doesn't look bad but compare myself to those girls in school, they prefer to wear mini skirt or dress then those stilettos that could stab you if they decided to step on you. Should i start dressing up like that now?

I went out with my backpack then entered the elevator. I tried to remember everything that I need to buy at the grocery. As I arrived at the basement parking. I immediately turn on my car engine.

"Potato check, Chicken check, uh... Chocolates! I almost forgot" I checked my list again to look if there's more that I've forgot, but there's none, I'm complete except for the chocolates. Walking at the aisles of chocolate, I know I'm in heaven. There's a lot to buy!

"I want this." I get that bar of chocolate. I look to my left.

"And this." Then look at my right.

"And th-" but before I could get it someone held my hand. Stopping from reaching that heavenly temptation that is making my knees weak!

"Didn't I told you to eat more vegetables!?" That baritone deep voice. I looked at him.

Smith!

"Yes I did buy vegetables" I defend. Squinting his eyes at me, I know he didn't believe me. He went to my cart and held those vegetables that I bought. He then sigh as he shook his head in disbelief.

"Really?" He held the vegetable in front of me, then furrowed his brows.

"Potato is the only vegetable in your cart?" then he grab one of my junk food.

"And there's a lot of junk food and chocolates.. do you think this is healthy!?" He stared at me seriously. I just got caught in the act. I told him that I will eat a lot of vegetables, or else no more cakes in the cafeteria! Or was it just that one time decision?

"B-but.." what should I say? Come on brain work! He then hold my cart and started walking to the other aisle. I also notice the small basket he's been carrying on his right hand. Noticing the empty basket holder in my cart, he then put his basket there. Sometimes I wonder why he is always there. Popping out of nowhere. I don't know if its just coincidence or what..

"Hey can't you walk any faster!?" He called out. I looked at him and I didn't notice that he's already far from me. I walk fast.

"Sorry"

Noticing that we were in the vegetables area. He then started putting vegetables on my cart. What the!!

"H-hey! Vegetables... Smith!!" I called him but he's not listening he just continued putting different kinds of vegetables on my cart or our cart since he put his own groceries in it. I hold both of his hand and he stop. Our eyes immediately locked as he cocked his head at me. Feeling the same nervousness whenever we look at each other. I tried brushing it off then just pouted at him.

"No vegetables!" I pleaded

"Do you know how to cook?"

"What! Of course." I replied then he nod and he hold both of my hands with his left hand and his right hand started putting vegetables on my/our cart again.

"Smith" I whined. He then look at me.

"If you will eat vegetables you can have many chocolates after." He said and my eyes sparkled on what he said. Chocolates? Many chocolates!?

"Really!!?" I asked. He nod. Then started walking with our cart. We went to the soft drinks area since he said he wanted to buy some. From the look of it, its like we're a couple buying groceries together. This is sweet. My heart felt warm at that.

I almost bump to him when he suddenly stopped. I think he notice that I was staring at him while I'm behind. He look at my direction then raised a brow.

"Im just used to buying groceries by my self and this is my first time buying groceries with others.. well except for him but.. this is fun!" then I smiled brightly at him. "Thanks Smith!"

He then pat my head then nod a bit and look back at the pile of softdrink. And did he just smirk.. or just my imagination..

"I'll just have the spaghetti, burger, and chocolate shake" I said. The cashier just nod while looking at Alexander. I look at him and noticed that he didn't even felt her staring at him, the he started ordering after awhile. And guess what happen if a handsome guy is ordering.. of course a flirt cashier.

"Is that all sir?" The flirt cashier said, then bend a bit to show her cleavage. Damn! I want to punch her. Alexander just nod and didn't show any emotion to her. Hahaha!! Serves you right! Geezz why am I being like this.

"Sir we also have new-" she didnt finish her sentence when Alexander cut her off.

"Miss I've already ordered can you just give us our table number."

Hahahahaha!! In your face lady!

Oh.. I'm.. why am I like this? Then the cashier gave us our number. I saw how her face turned red out of embarrassment. We sat near the window, the table is good for two person only so its small. We decided to eat lunch here in fastfood. He suggest earlier that we should eat at the restaurant but I wanted to eat at the fastfood. So he just agreed. What a nice guy. Our groceries are in the car also.

"Have you eaten here?" I asked. Then he shook his head.

"No"

"H-huh.. so this is your first time here?" I asked. And he nod and said yes. Wow. he's really rich huh? Well we're also rich. But I want to try common people do. After that our order arrived and we started eating.
