Lian's POV

We sat down on the couch as I try to calm myself down. Damn this. I'm supposed to be taking care of him! Not the other way around. He has a fever for Christ sake. I look at him where he's sitting so close beside me. I saw how there's no more space between our thighs. His arm is wrapped around me while his hand is drawing circles on my shoulder. As always, those penetrating gaze is on me again. Like he's trying to read my thoughts. He then sighed after a while.

"Are you okay now?" With his husky voice, how will I be okay. I feel mushy in our position, but him being this close, I miss this. I look at him and just nod. I put the back of my hand to his forehead to check his temperature again. He's really hot. I mean literally.  Not a normal temperature already.

"You should rest now. Have you taken your dinner?" I asked as I put my hand down. Back to business. Let's take care of him.

"No. I was about to call for a dinner." He then bit his lower lips. "How about you? Have you eaten? I might call down for two." I shook my head at that. Then my gaze went down to his chest. I forgot he's topless! And I was even hugging him earlier.

"N-no need. I've already ate before I came here." I look around trying to divert my attention because his topless chest is on full display, not to mention that we're really close to each other. So he's just ordering his dinner huh. Is their food even nutritious?

An idea pop up on my head. I immediately looked at Alexander and smirked at him. He then raised a brow at me.

"Don't call for dinner downstairs. I'll just cook for you!" I exclaimed. Still raising a brow he again bit his lower lip. But this time trying to hide his laugh.

"You're not going to poison me right?" He chuckled. I smacked his arm.

"Hey! I'm good at cooking too." I pouted. How dare he! Alexander then pinched my cheek and then laugh.

"Just kidding. I would love that. I never thought that you'll be cooking for me." I then blush as he smiled at me. I stood up and cleared my throat.

"Okay where's your kitchen. I'll borrow it for a while." He then pointed at the side where there is an opening to another set of room. I nodded and look at him. "Stay here for awhile and rest. I'll  call you if dinner is ready." I then walk towards his kitchen and started preparing ingredients. Good thing that everything I need for a chicken soup is here. I then wear his apron. It's a bit big but it's okay.

After awhile, I'm already waiting for this to be fully cooked. It smells good. Not burned. I know how to cook too!

Suddenly, I felt an arm wrapped around my waist. I look behind only to find him really close to me again. His face was now really close that if I move a bit, our nose would really touch. I could wholly feel his warm chest behind me.

"It's almost ready. Just sit on the dinning table now." I cleared my throat as I look back at this thing that I'm cooking. He then rested his chin on my shoulders. Damn  everything! Why is he being so clingy right now! I'm not saying that I don't like this but, I'm cooking! I can't concentrate.

"Hmm.. what are you cooking." He lazily asked with a low breathy voice. What am I cooking?? What's this called again?

"U-uhm it's a soup I guess." The blood that went down from my face earlier was now back to my cheeks again. I could feel myself blushing.

"You don't know what's it called?" He chuckled. I then glared at him, but wrong move. As I looked at him, our face is just centimeters away again. And I couldn't stand that. He is staring directly at me with that stupid smirk on. Is this guy even sick? How can he even tease me at this state.

"For a sick person. You're really energetic huh?" I pouted as I turned off the stove. "Okay it's done!" I then look at him. Still resting his chin on my shoulders. "Go to the dinning table now and behave. I'll get some plates."

"Yes ma'am." Alexander then shook his head and chuckled. As he let go of my waist, I then felt cold and lonely. As I look at how he turn his back on me to go to the dinning table, pain strike through me, like he's leaving me. I let out a sigh. This isn't normal anymore. I've fallen hard for him.

While eating his dinner. I look at his meds and put it in the table. I also prepared a lukewarm water and a cloth to put on his forehead after this.

"If only I've known that you're sick. I should've brought some fruits. You don't have any stock aside from that apple." I crossed my arms nagging. Holy cow. I looked like a nagging girlfriend. He then smirked at me.

"Oh baby I'm sorry. Didn't thought that I'll get scolded at." He chuckled. I just puff my cheeks and turn around trying to do something other that staring at his topless state.

"And why are you still topless?? You've got a fever! Shouldn't you be cold or something?"

"I'm a bit hot earlier. But I'll wear a shirt now if you want." He said. But there was a bit teasing on it. What does he meant by that?

After eating he was now taking a warm bath. I'm just sitting in the living room's sofa trying to recall everything that happened earlier. I want to confess to him..

Will he reject me? I heard that there are a lot of girls who confessed to him but got rejected. But even in his cold treatment to others. Many girls still flock on his feet. Maybe I'm just one of them. If I confess, will he reject me too? I'll really be heartbroken if that happens.

I then felt a hand covered my eyes. I hold his hand and look above me. I froze on my spot as I saw him only with that thin white towel wrapped around his waist.

"Alexander!!!!" Damn him!! I'm a girl. Why is he walking around like that? He then burst out laughing.

"W-what? Haha I still have some towels on." He said still laughing. If I'm blushing earlier. I don't know how red I am right now. Being topless with shorts is not okay. How much more with just this thin towel on.

"I hate youuu." I puffed my cheeks while looking away from that sinful towel. It looks like it could fall any minute from now. "You don't look like you're sick!"

"Baby I'm fine. And I'm better now since you're here with me." He then smiled at me. Still chuckling a bit. He then turn around to walk to his bedroom I guess. I just sigh trying to calm my heart which is now beating fast again.

"Also.." I look at Alexander. "This is the first time you called me Alexander. Not Smith anymore." I blinked at him. What? "I like my name on your lips. It sounded nice." After a sided glance, he then proceeded to his room.

I bit my lip. You haven't called me by my name too you know.

I went to the kitchen after awhile and check the lukewarm water I prepared if it's still the right temperature. I then went to his room and knocked lightly.

"It's open. Come in." As I open the door. The room is a dim but I could still identify him with the help of the moonlight. I saw him standing near the window with a glass of water on his hand. I look at his table and saw an empty medicine wrapper. He just took his meds.

I observed his expression. I've been noticing it earlier. It really looks like he's just pretending to be strong and jolly. I sighed.

"Go to bed now. Let's put this cloth to help lower your temperature." I said softly. He surprisingly followed me. As he lay on the bed, I fix the cloth and put it in his forehead.

I stood up after awhile and was about to walk out, but he held my arm wrist.

"Please don't leave me." He croaked out. It hurts honestly. Seeing him begging hurts.

"I won't."
