Ch.16 Mad

Lian's POV

Its our second day in our activity. We're almost going home.

yey!

I still remembered what happened yesterday. I thought that maybe.. because we've really been close to each other. I tend to think too much. I remembered how honest I really am to him. How I'm transparent. I just thought that I'm the only one thinking about it seriously. For him I'm just a sister that he needs to take care of.

Last night. Before sleeping in one bed. I made sure to ask for extra pillows in the front desk while he's taking a shower. I put it in the middle of the bed. It's a lot of pillow that is why it looks like a wall. He was confused about it when he went out but didn't said anything.

I didn't even talk to him last night. The bitter feeling still stays up until now.

"Lian is it fun in your school?" Kim asked and I nod. I tried to fold that thoughts at the back of my head.

"Of course its really fun in there specially your bf. He's really energetic and all." I said. She giggled.

"Really!.. you know I'm planning to transfer." My eyes widen.

"Really!?"

"Yes" she giggled then we cheered. We're in Uset University. It's one of the location of the event. And specifically, we're in the schools cafeteria. I'm waiting for Alexander since this is the last event and he's a little busy.

Kim's phone suddenly rang.

"Yes! Okay I understand. Im coming. Okay bye." Kim turn off her phone and looked at me. "Lian im really really sorry but my parents are already here. I-"

"Its okay I'm sure Alexander is almost done. You can go." I assured her. She then hugged me and apologize. Then she walk away.

I just sigh. Alone again. But my silent thoughts didn't last long till I heard a deep voice behind me.

"What does a beautiful lady doing here alone?" A guy said. I look at him. He's smirking at me. I look at his I.D where Uset University was printed in it. So he's a student here huh. Then he sat down on the chair in front of me. How mean! He didn't even ask.

"Im waiting for someone." I plainly said.

"Are you waiting for your boyfriend?" He said. I tilt my head to the side a little. Then remembered Alexander's words yesterday. It really did affect me this much.

"No. He's just my friend." after I said that his smile widens then he move closer to me. His face is really close. I look at him. He is handsome yes. His nose complement his face. His reddish lips. His dark brow. His brownish eyes. Wooowww.

"Done checking me out" he smirk.

"YUP!" I smirked not backing down from his aura. His eyes widen. Then he chuckled. Whenever people are happy. They tend to let out a positive vibe. He looks good laughing also. People should always smile and be happy. I couldn't help but smile also.

"Hahaha you're really something!" He said still laughing. Then he hold my cheek and pinched it. Why does everyone like pinching my cheeks. He is still chuckling. I hold his hand which is on my cheek.

"Hei.. ow.. ma heeks" so he wants pinching huh? I moved close to him to reach his cheeks and pinch him also. We we're laughing while pinching each others cheek.

"Hei weh kow" I said as I stopped pinching his cheeks but he didn't listen. He is still chuckling. I hold his hand as I try to remove it on my cheeks.

Someone hold his wrist and pull it away which surprised me. Then grabbed me making me stand immediately. I look at that person and was surprised to see Alexander and he looked mad. Huh why? He's glaring at the guy from earlier. His eyes is really dark it really shows danger in it. His jaw clenched.

"Don't you f*ck*ng dare touch her!" His voice boomed. I winced at his voice. It was really deep. He's scary. Eyes darkened while looking at the guy that I've been with earlier.

"Or what?" The guy from earlier smirk. Hey your going to die if you don't stop Mr!! Alexander balled his fist.

"Lets go now Smith. Ah bye Mr." I grab my bag and pulled Alexander away from that place. God, they might kill each other. I didn't know what to do anymore. Good thing Alexander just let me pull him out of that place. I don't know why Alexander got mad at him. I look at him. He's frowning, jaw still clenched. We arrived at the schools parking lot. He sat at the hood of the car. His brow is still furrowed.

"Uh.. Smith do you want to go to the park?" I asked trying to cheer him up.

"No." Then he went inside the car and started the engine.

"Smith tomorrow is our last day here in Cebu. Do you want to go somewhere?" I smiled.

"No." He said coldly.

I tried cheering him up but he is just ignoring me until we came back to the hotel. Why is he cold? Did I do something wrong?

"Smith?" I called him but he just went straight to bed and sleep. "How about lunch?" I asked.

"I've already order just wait for it."

"What about you?"

"Im not hungry" then he became quiet.

"Okay" I said in a low voice.

After awhile the staff delivered our meal. I let them put it in the dining table while I went to the bedroom to check on him. He's still laying there. Abdomen facing on the bed.

I just didn't mind him since he might be tired..

I got a bit scared of him earlier. I thought they were gonna fight. I've never seen Alexander that mad before that's why it really shocked me.

I'm always used to stoic faced or caring Alexander. Not like earlier.

After eating I went outside. I really don't want to be alone specially after that kind of happening. I tend to overthink. And sometimes it's not appropriate anymore. I'll just blame myself and feel down about it.

I went to the park near where we we're staying. It's really peaceful here. Not much of a people. I went to the nearest bench I could find. I closed my eyes for awhile letting myself be comforted by the fresh wind.

I heard footsteps after awhile. That's why I opened my eyes to check on it. I was surprised to see Alexander standing near where I'm sitting at. He's know back to being that cold and stoic face of his.

I guess I really did think too much about what's been happening to us. So we're really just friends huh?

I sighed as I closed my eyes. Trying to clear everything off my mind.

"It's getting dark. Let's go back now." His baritone deep voice cut my bubble of silence. I just nod and went pass him. I walk first leaving him behind. But he'll just follow anyway. I didn't look back. I won't give in again.

I'll keep my distance now. I don't want to be hurt again.
