Ch.17 Cold

Lian's P.O.V

I woke up because of a sound from the door. I look at my side. He's not there anymore. His side of the bed is already fixed. I grabbed my phone which is on the bedside table, and checked for the time.

10:47 am

Damn It! I over slept. It's almost twelve. I stood up. I still feel sleepy and I didn't really sleep properly last night, I keep on thinking about Alexander. This is one of the reasons why I don't get myself attached with a boy. I assumed things. Thinking that their care is because of their feelings for me.

What should I do now? This is also our last day here in Benville. I thought this trip will be fun because he's here with me. I closed my eyes for awhile and tried to breath in properly. Trying to remove that weight in my chest.

When I went out, I saw him sitting in the sofa while drinking a coffee. I wanted to go near him. I shook my head. Then proceeded to the kitchen. Distance. Be just like before.

After eating breakfast or maybe this is already a brunch. I went to the bedroom and took a shower.

I'm going out. I can manage to be alone. I'll try not to get lost in the City. I'll use my cellphone as a GPS at least I know my way to this hotel. If he's mad at me then I guess it's okay..

I wore a baby pink dress. It's A skirt is just above my knee. It's nit really that short. But I'll just be careful not to let this be blown by the wind or else my underwear will be seen. I paired it with black heels since it complements my black belt. I just let my hair down. I also put on my necklace. It's been long since I wore this. I don't really wear this necklace much often but it's always with me though, either in my bag or pocket.

I went out while locking my watch. I felt Alexander's gaze at me. I look up to see him frowning at me.

"I'm going out for awhile. Don't wait for me. I'll be back before 12am though." He suddenly stood up.

"Wait here. I'm coming with you." His stoic and cold expression is still there. Which made my chest hurt a bit. I shook my head.

"No. I'm going out alone." I said with finality as I walk towards the door. But before I could turn the handle. His words stopped me.

"Why. Are you going to see him!?" That literally shocked me. I turned to face him and he's got that expression again. That cold dark expression of him is staring back at me. His jaw clenched indicating that he's trying to hold himself. I frowned at him.

"What are you talking about?" But he just turned his back on me and went to the bedroom.

He's really acting weird. I just sigh. Not understanding everything anymore. I went out and walk around the City. It's quite big and people here are really approachable.

I'm in a bookstore now. As I was observing the book someone covered my eyes. It shocked me a bit. But then I realized it might be just Alexander. It's quite big for it to be a females hand so it might really be him. I turned around to see him.

A pair of brown eyes stare back at me. He was also smiling.

"Didn't thought I'd see you again." He's that guy from before. My eyes widened as I realized that.

"I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday.." I said with a low voice. He just chuckled and scratch the back of his head.

"It's nothing. But I might be okay if you stroll around the city with me." He exclaimed while looking at the other side. He's cute. Not that confident like yesterday. I giggled at that. He looked at me as he raised a brow.

"Let's just go. You'll be my tour guide for today?" Still laughing at his adorable attitude.

"Of course! I'll show you our best tourist spots"

We went to a museum first. I know it's a bit boring but I never thought it would be fun. He's really talkative and I just keep on laughing at him. We also went to a garden like place. Then to a big bird's house. And other more places.

We ended up sitting in a bench on some theme park.

"So yeah that's how monkey's do the cleaning." Then we both laughed. He's telling me the story about a monkey with a raccoon wife. Then I thought of something.

"Hey I haven't got your name yet." I stared at him as he blinked at me.

"I'm Shiro Hinamori. I'm half Japanese by the way."

"Cute name." I chuckled. He then laughed a bit.

"How about our lady. What's her name?" He bow down as he acts like a royal prince in a party. I also pretend to be a princess and bow down also.

"Such a pleasure to be a asked your majesty." We both chuckled trying to stop ourselves from laughing. "I'm Lian De Guzman. Half German half shepherd." But we couldn't contain it anymore as we burst out laughing.

While laughing I saw some figure not far from where we were sitting. He's just there standing while looking at us from afar. But Alexander didn't see me looking though, because when I looked at him. He's already looking down.

Then he started walking towards us. I turned to face Shiro still trying to calm himself from laughing. Why do I feel nervous now. They might fight if they encounter again! I cleared my throat.

"Uhm Shiro I thi-" before I could even finish my sentence. He was already there standing behind Shiro.

"Let's go now." Reason why me and Shiro looked at him. Shiro suddenly stood up.

"You're here again." Then Shiro tried to level his height on Alexander. But Alexander is just tall for him. He's just below Alexander's eye level. They both glared at each other. And if I don't do something, they might fight each other here!

"Smith let's go." I pulled Alexander away from Shiro. "Thank you so much for this day. I really had fun strolling around the city." As I looked at Shiro. But before he could reply. I already walked away pulling Alexander with me.

"Is he your boyfriend?" That made me stopped. I look at Alexander who's already staring intently at me now. I then remembered what he said at that restaurant in.

"No we're just friends" I was staring at Alexander when I said that. I saw how his expression change. I'm not sure but I think I saw pain pass through his expression before being covered by a cold and unreadable one. He then clenched his jaw and looked away.

I was fixing my clothes in my luggage. We didn't talk anymore after that. We decided to go home now. While our other representative decided to extend their stay here.

I didn't thought this would happen. I missed how we interact like before. If only I know that this would happen. I won't agree to be a representative in this event.
