Chapter 4

"No you didn't!" I shouted excitedly.

"Guess what,I did!" Viv responded.

I hadn't been to this forest for years now.It's been 8 years or something since we last visited it with Viv.We used to go there everyday cause we both lived next to it but after we moved it wasn't convenient to tell our parents to drive for 20 minutes everyday.

We called this forest our forest,cause you could see maximum one person a month visiting it.It was the most beautiful forest I had ever been to in my life but it was a little abandoned so people didn't use to go there.There is also a lake with ducks and swans and you can see every single of the stars from there as it's far from the city lights.

I think Viv was in love with me when we were little as she told me that she's going to marry me but to be honest I said yes every time.I was just too innocent to understand her.

I was thinking of the beautiful moments we had spent there when Viv took my hand in hers.I looked at it weirded out.

"What!?"I asked and took my hand away from hers.

"Nothing,I was thinking of the times that we used to play here together and I was holding your hand without getting such an awful reaction.I was testing you and now I realized things have changed a little."

"Yes they've changed cause I don't want to be your wife anymore." I laughed.

"Oh,I'll always want you to be my wife."

I blushed so much that I thought I was going to explode.Did Viv like me?Her behaviour hadn't changed but she kept on flirting and saying cute things to me which I found weird as long as she was gay.

"Don't blush,it's not like I'm flirting!"she winked.

I started walking away from her,still thinking that this was pretty odd and that I would never want to do something with a girl,especially Viv who was my "sister".

"Hey,I've already told you I'd never see you in any other way!You know I like teasing you!" I heared her shouting.

I didn't stop walking,I just wanted some time for myself,to think,to rest my mind.Silence was the most precious gift I could have at that moment.

I think Viv understood that,she knew me more that anyone and that's why she didn't follow me.

I started walking and walking and walking,remembering more and more things,appreciating the memories we had back then.Viv was precious to me,she was my left arm,my other half and without her I would have ended up pregnant.I realized that I wouldn't care if she liked me the other way.I couldn't lose her.

My phone interrupted my thoughts.I looked at the number and to my surprise it was Angel.

"Hello madame." I laughed.

"Hey you,how are you?"she said in response with her gentle voice.

"I'm in a forest.What's with the unexpected call?"

"A forest?And oh well I just wanted to let you know that the list of the songs is ready."

"That's great,you can give them to me tomorrow!I have to go though,my mum is calling me!"I lied not because I didn't want to talk to her or because I didn't want to hear her angelic voice,it was because Viv was calling me on my phone.I didn't want to ignore her.

"Okay,can you call me when you get home?I need to talk to you,I don't mind if it's late or something,just hit me up alright?"

"Alright!See you later sweetie." I said before I hang up and picked the call from Viv up.

"Where are you?" I heared her worried voice saying.

"Come and find me" I teased her.

At that moment I heared a very loud scream right behind my ear which scared me to death and made me jump and scream panicked.When I turned to see what that was I saw Viv laughing hard and making piggy noises.

All I did was watch her laughing, having my arms on my waist angrily.When she kind of stopped I smirked and gave her the bitch look.

"You would be crying instead if I had died of a heart attack."I said.

"You should be happy cause it would be a funny death." she laughed and sat on where I was sitting before.

I sat next to her and looked at her while she was looking at the lake in front of us.

"I'm sorry for leaving you before.I wanted some time to think about some things by myself." as I was speaking she was ignoring me or she could hear me but she had a lost look drawn on her face.

"It's okay." she was deadly serious this time.

"I'm not suspicious anymore,I love you,you're my sister,my soulmate,we share so many things and the most important,we share the same soul."

At that moment she turned to me and hugged me tight.I felt safe for some reason,it was good to be in her arms.

"Promise me you won't ever break our friendship,whatever happens."

"I promise." I said giving her my pinky.

After that she did the worst thing she could have ever done.She placed her hands on my neck and leaned close to me.The kiss was gentle but I forced her to stop by standing up.
