Chapter 16

Andy POV
"Everyone come on let's go, get ready. We are not leaving to go home until we have found the group!" I yelled to everyone." But come on its probably not a big deal what case is this even for." A officer asked." This is a group of highly skilled teenagers who have escaped police custody who have ran away from there home and they call them self's the runways." I said." Ok that does seem extremely big we'll get to work." He said back. I went to go to my desk I picked up the photo that Ben gave me it was a picture of the 4 girls( Grace, Kayla, Georgia, and Chanel.) and the 2 boys( Alex and Ben) beside all the people were there names and on the top of the picture was a title that said
The Runaways." I will find you guys I can promise you that."

It was 8:00am and know one had left and were all trying are best to find but we got nothing. Maggie walked up to my desk with a cup of coffee." Here I thought you would want this." She said as she sipped her coffee. I smiled at her I really like her she just seems amazing and we meet each other at this small park and I kinda took her home with me ever since then I was hooked on her but I know she doesn't like me." Thanks Magg."" You ok you seem off."" I am a little off I just don't know where these kids went."" Yeah it is kinda tricky I guess."" You seem kinda off to you ok?"" No it's nothing I'm fine it's just... Did you here what Ben said in the interrogation room?"" Yes I did."" So you heard everything that Ben said." She said seeming worried." Yeah I heard everything isn't it funny how Ben thought you ran away from your home and how he thought you liked me ever since we meet." She let out a sigh that seemed to be relief." Yes it's so funny."" Yeah because if you actually did run away then that means 2 things. 1 you have been living a lie for almost your entire life and you would know probably where these kids are. That would be insane." I said laughing." Yeah that would be totally in...sane." She said slowly." Maggie you ok."" Uh Andy I have to go." She left about 10 minutes after she left it hit me everything Ben said was right, I got up and ran out the door to follow her I can't believe it.

Maggie POV
Oh crap I know where they are. If he is where I think he is Ben will be at the park where Andy and me first met. I was finally there, Ben was sitting on a park bench and a white van was right beside him a couple people came out of the van and said something to Ben then walked away. I sat down next to Ben." How much do you know." I asked him." I know a lot like your real last name Hill not O'Hara. I also know that you have an alias that you have a police record on."" Yeah you're right I was on the run for almost a year before I fond Andy and he just seemed to change everything. He was the reason I stopped running and stayed here."" That sounds nice you know you have to tell him."" And how do you think I'm supposed to do that he's no where near here."" Well this may help, he's right there." I looked around the corner and I say Andy walking and as soon as he say us he stooped and stared at us I did the same. Ben ushered him to come over so he did Ben said that he was going to let us talk alone. Andy sat down next to me but he didn't look at me I did the same." So you ran away from your home."" Yes I did."" How long were you missing before I found you?"" Almost an entire year."" Was it true what Ben said? Do you actually like me? Have you liked me ever since I found you."" Those were the last questions I thought you asked me."" You didn't answer my question."" Yes. Yes I have and I have never stopped."" Really!"" I know it's stupid and I know you don't feel the same way but..."" No I have felt the exact same way I just didn't think you felt that way."" Oh well.... That's great." I said. I leaned on him and he put his arm around me I never wanted it to end it felt like nothing could ever go wrong again.

Georgia POV
" What the hell do you mean you want to go back home!!!" I yelled." Look Georgia I'm sorry but I I I don't like you anymore and I don't want to do this anymore so I want to go home." Alex said quietly." But you were onboard with this and you wanted to come."" Well I don't anymore ok and there's nothing you can say or do that will convince me to stay."" Ok fine but you have to tell the others." I called the others over and Alex explained to them what he wanted to do." What do you mean your leaving." Chanel said." Bro, you can't leave me here with 3 girls. I mean think about it 2 girl I can't stand, 1 girl I love and 1 guy do the math it doesn't add up." Ben said." Actually yes it does it equals 4." Alex said." Ok now I'm fine with this." Ben said." But but. Fine you know whatever I don't care anymore just don't tell anyone how the runways works ok." I said." I won't just go ok." Alex said and we all went to the van except for Alex he stayed with the detective. Chanel was driving the van and Kayla sat beside her and Ben Grace and me sat in the back. I didn't want to talk to anyone so I just was staring right in front of me." You ok Georgia?" Ben asked me." Right as rain Ben." I said. Ben and Grace look at each other." Are you upset about what happened." Ben asked me." No. I'm not upset it's just.... When guy tells you he likes you, you would expect him to like you for at least a year or so but when a guy runs away with you he must really really like you but... He doesn't he did, but now he doesn't." I had a sad look on my face and continued to look down." Mmmm strange." Ben said." What so strange." I asked Ben." It's just strange because overall you are one of the most stubborn, and coolest girls I have ever met and if Alex can't see that then he's an idiot."" You said it." Grace said." Ok I'm sorry but what the hell did Alex do to you?" Ben asked Grace." Oh nothing he's just an ass hole so I hate him." I started to smile at them." Oh my god Ben we have accomplished are mission we have made her smile. Is someone recording this amazing moment of history." Grace said. Everyone in the van started to laugh at what she said and I felt a lot better.
